I spent 1 night and 1 day here with a specific itinerary - the historic ghost walk, the cathedral, Greyfriars, Tudor museum.
Worcester is very easy to travel to by train and car and to get around. There are some fantastic historic buildings, cafes and pubs. I stayed at Browns at the Quay and ate there. I also had a delicious afternoon tea at G&Tea. A very enjoyable stay - will be back soon to see some other things!

Worcester is a lovely place to visit the Hotel is situated right in the middle of all amenities. You are also opposite the train station that literally takes about 30 to 45 minutes to get in to Birmingham. Walks and eating establishments are the best choice lots to choose from .

A beautiful little city, not as touristy as York or Chester but along those lines. Getting off the train at Worcester Foregate Station (handy for day trips to Gloucester, Great Malvern and Hereford) and you're straight into the middle of town, loads of shops and restaurants, excellent museum, heavenly cathedral, Friar street, a lovely medieval road, includes the Tudor house museum. There is also a Royal Worcester pottery museum which is excellent....recommended. NOTE: A few Worcester attractions are closed Mon & Tue....need to check !!

This is a beautiful historic city which is well worth a visit for non-history buffs too. It offers shopping, sightseeing, plentiful "hospitality" venues, and its setting astride the River Severn offers countryside and walking too. What more could you ask for in a city break ?
The property was squeaky clean, with a good range of facilities. It was well appointed, nicely decorated and furnished, with everything required to cook full meals (if needed). The bed was comfortable, the water was hot, hand wash and gel available too. The location was great, very close to the canal basin and a lovely river walk. There was designated parking - a great option in a city centre. We usually stay in a hotel when we visit Worcester, but this is a much better way to visit.
Was absolutely amazed by the room. Loved how we could log on to Netflix (we’ve never had that before) loved the shower and bathroom. Fan was amazing. Loved the set up of the room. Loved having a stove and microwave for the option to cook which we did. It’s so close to the town centre everything is walking distance. Parking was easy and liked that the hotel was tucked away. Will definitely be staying again and again as we plan on staying in Worcester a lot more.
Loved the People, the breakfast really set us up for a long day of travel - proper food, conversation was wonderful, staff are amazing in so many ways for guests and community. Definitely going to book here for all my family visits to and through Worcester. Bringing our dog was easy and we met other good folks and a pooch who clearly sees Ye Old Talbote as his holiday destination. For us it means finally, that we could bring our dog to visit family here.
This is the 3rd year I have booked a reunion to stay at the hotel for 15 adults.
Muhammed, and ALL the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and welcoming snd the hotel ideally accommodated us with different seating areas and courtyard.
Within minutes of walking into town. I shall definately rebook again if we return to Worcester and the price of £80 is also very appealing for a twin room.
The location was very nice and the hotel was impressive. We only had one night there and they accommodated an early check in as we were attending a funeral nearby that afternoon. The food in the evening and for breakfast was well prepared. The breakfast timing was good as it went on until 10:00. The staff were all polite and very accommodating and helpful.
Ideal for Worcester and the surrounding area. lovely independent pub-hotel. Quirky! We had a lovely spacious, comfortable room. Breakfast was super and an evening meal with family members most enjoyable. will be staying again when visiting family and friends in the area. All of the staff members we encountered were welcoming and friendly.
This hotel is well run pub-cum-hotel which offers comfortable accommodation. Everyone was very helpful. The restaurant offers good quality pub food with the breakfast always tasting freshly cooked. The location is on the edge of Worcester's pedestrianised area with plenty of shops, cafes, bars near at hand.
This is my 2nd stay here & have booked again to return in December with family. Spotlessly clean hotel. Beds are super comfy. Shower is amazing. Kettle, tea/coffee/water stocked in room daily. Staff are really helpful & friendly. A MUST if you’re in Worcester.
Very compact & bijou, everything we needed for a city break. Modern & clean. Saw the cleaner a couple of times who was really lovely. Fantastic location. We loved Worcester & would certainly book this hotel again.
What a fantastic hotel. Would definitely recommend for trip to Worcester. The staff were so pleasant and helpful and food was fantastic. We enjoyed our stay so much we booked there and then for New Year's Eve
Location was perfect - walking distance to town. Rooms are clean, cosy and have character. Breakfast was fantastic, lots of choice of warm and buffet. Staff where friendly, welcoming and super helpful.
Interesting rooms in a period property. Top floor room requires you to crouch to get in due to low beams (not a problem, just worth noting!). Everything worked and the stay was comfortable.
Location was great for a quick exploration of Worcester. Hotel is an old pub so typical quirkiness of old buildings. Breakfast was OK - not great like the reviews indicated
Bed was lovely bathroom facilities were good all bathroom fan could do with it's own switch.
No need for so many kitchen facilities as no one stays in a hotel and cooks.
Location was perfect, right on a Main Street in center of town, across the street from the train station. had lots of room to gather in secluded lobby areas.
