Clean room & great shower
good base clean , just what is needed for a short stay, free wifi, good parking
smallish room, a little tired.
Toby Carvery 3 miles away does a good cheap breakfast Those people who got a bed said that they were comfy. Location near motorway was useful.
Carpets were stained & dirty Staff were not very friendly or welcoming Dining area completely shut with no prior warning to our stay. They didn't get our booking correct and so didn't have enough beds for us to sleep in in our room.
Attitude of staff, they were not around much so if you wanted something it was too bad.Not welcoming at all .
When we arrived on Friday night the hot water tap in the basin was not working. It was fixed after I phoned the hotel on Saturday morning to complain but I was less than impressed to be told it was the responsibility of the previous guest to report the problem. I feel that if the cleaner had done his or her job properly they would have noticed it and sorted it out accordingly. The toilet seat is also broken and the bathroom vanity light does not work. The bar and dining facilities are a building site and are not available for use and the noise from other guests and late arrivals is very disturbing. Whilst it is cheap it is not good value for money.Overall I cannot recommend this hotel.
Good location. Friendly and helpful staff. Powerful shower! Only had to stay for 2 nights- just for sleeping!! Indian restaurant was very good.
Creaky floor boards- no midnight wee! TV remote didn't work. Bed wasn't particularly comfortable. Towels were once white. Limited storage. No lift- I struggle walking as I have MS. Toilet was too close to the wall with a towel rail in the way so had to sit on it wonkily. Then the toilet seat broke....
Helpful and friendly staff; the room was clean and spacious, with a well placed tv set where all beds could view easily. The beds were also very comfortable. Considering how much we paid, it was an awesome deal.
Food the room was comfortable
Excellent staff, extremely helpful. A very simple hotel, but was all I needed on a business trip.
A surprisingly bight emergency light in my room that wouldn't switch off.
Price was good for the area, and the free wi-fi was very reliable. Stayed in two rooms, one was better than the other. Both had good bathrooms.
The cleanliness could have been better (especially the carpets in the rooms)
Good value for money
Location, quite far from city centre
Large room Staff did offer to help with bags Wi fi
Carpet stained and dirty Tiles cracked Staff not very welcoming Decorations old and dirty Sheets stained In real need of a fresh coat of paint, new floors and new plain sheets
Staff were helpful and friendly.
The rooms were very small, and the floors creeked on every step. The toilet was very cramped with the shower right up against it, even my wife had to sit in an angle to use the loo. Most annoyingly there was a loud squeaking fan outside our room making noise on our first day and again in the morning before checkout. And lastly the advertised checkout time on booking.com is different to their actual checkout time. The expected us to leave earlier.
Great Indian restaurant in hotel. A good English breakfast can be obtained at toy's carvery about 3 mins drive away. It was cheap the shower was hot.
The gentleman who greeted us was very attentive and could not have been anymore helpful. The breakfast was absolutely fabulous.Overall,a very pleasant experience and excellent value for money.
No complaints at all.
Dirty bed linen and crockery. Continental breakfast was stale toast and cornflakes, no choice at all. Hotel needs a total refurbishment.
good value for money exellent owner and food was unreal very good would reccomend
leaving the next day
1) mix up in booking for room despite confirmation by owner for room and price 4 months prior to arrival. Had to wait for beds to be setup for my young children up to 9pm that night after arrival at 6pm. 2) soap provided in room had all hardened up from age 3) hand held shower cord kinks and water stops on lifting up. Need to stoop to have a shower. 4)Worse of all, the house alarm went off at 1am and no staff on site. Had to call the owner in to turn alarm off.
Friendy staff, price, on site Indian restaurant serving good food, good breakfast, plenty of parking, convenient location for Fosse Park / Meridian Business Park
Hotel rooms are very basic but have all the essentials - you get what you pay for !
