With a pool, gym and free Wi-Fi, this hotel is set in the Rhondda Valley, 330 yards from Rhondda Heritage Park. It has a bar and good restaurant serving traditional cuisine. The spacious rooms have satellite TV, tea/coffee and a bathroom. Heritage Park Hotel is a 20 minute drive from Cardiff and the Brecon Beacons National Park, and a 5 minute drive from Pontypridd. For relaxation, Pulse Leisure Club also features a jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. Beauty and massage treatments can be arranged. The restaurant at Hotel Heritage Park features recycled wooden timbers from Cardiff Docks, and offers a varied menu and Sunday lunch. Lighter meals are served in the bar, including vegetarian dishes. The staff are always very friendly & helpful. Nothing is too much trouble My only comment was the corridors are looking very tired, they need a fresh coach of paint & new carpet. They were cold & smelt of damp

We had a peaceful and comfortable night in a convenient location. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. Service was very good. We did not use the leisure facilities this time but on a previous visit we really enjoyed the pool and sauna. Would definitely recommend. Fresh fruit and greater bakery selection at breakfast would be an improvement.

The staff were friendly and the accommodation was adequate. The food was very poor- I ordered gammon and it was inedible. There was no fresh fruit at breakfast, only tinned and no butter, only margarine. The food was poor value for the room rate and price at the bar, and the quality of the room did not compare favourably with budget options like Premier Inn. I will probably be returning to the area but would probably look for another hotel because of the food.

Staff very friendly & helpfull The hotel is very clean & tidy however the corridors did let it down. The carpets are worn & secured with black tape in places. The breakfast staff were a bit eager & cleared away your items before you had finished.

The room was cold - the radiator didn't appear to be on at all and I therefore had to sit in bed to keep warm. The dinner was not good either - the mashed potatoes were cold and tasted as though they were made from a packet and the vegetables were most uninspiring. The wine was also not chilled but luke warm. Very disappointing!

I liked the attitude of the staff, nothing was too much trouble, and they were polite and curteous. The Hotel was clean and tidy and very central for touring the Rhonnda Valley area.

We only stayed at the Heritag Park Hotel one night, but we were very pleased with our room and the stay in general, we went there for our friends evening wedding party and I have to say the buffet was the best hotel bufet we had ever had there was so much food and it was delicious also the breakfast was excellent in the morning, generally we were pleased with everything and would certainly recommend it.

the room was clean and the bed extremely comfortable. the staff were pleasant happy and very helpful the restaurant food was very good and value for money . the hotel was easy to find with ample parking. the staff were knowledge about the area and gave good information and directions. the inclusive breakfast was a feast and perfectly cooked. I will definitely stay here again and would highly recommend .

The swimming pool and steam room - I was the only one using them although other people were using the gym. The food in the restaurant was also of a good quality with quite a lot of choice. The general public areas were in need of a good clean or redecoration - peeling wallpaper, carpets coming up at the seams creating a trip hazard, sticky floors and tables in the Loft restaurante. The staff were a bit 'sullen' - although the service provided was OK

Friendly staff ,easy parking, there was a wedding reception at the hotel but we could not here a thing from our room,the food was good and the hotel clean. We use it often as it is central for visiting family and friends.we would stay there again and recommend it to other people. This is not a complaint but as we were on the bottom floor the window frames were in a bit of a state it needs a coat of paint or replacing .
