Score from 258 reviews Fabulous
location was ok next door to Morrison for breakfast. tea/coffee and biscuits
sink still had tea stains around basin
Within walking distance of Snibston Discovery Centre and local restaurants 24hr reception - not always available with smaller hotels
Staff were great
Breakfast - Vegetarian was poor! 1 veg sausage 1 egg half a tomato, 1 egg and 5 halved mushrooms.
Very little, other than it's location for a school reunion in Coalville, otherwise would avoid,
Coffee machine broken so no latte's or hot chocolate, been like it for weeks apparently. Ran out of eggs during limited buffet breakfast, Springs in beds gone, rooms shabby and dated. No restaurant on Saturday night. Cheap, but poor value for money.
Close to High Street
Very Quiet! Breakfast choice limited. Lacked life!
Location, value for money, free parking, free wi-fi
No air con, a bit picky but not the best nights sleep as the bed was slightly uncomfortable.
The whole weekend was made brilliant because we had no problems with hotel compaid to ibis it was alot better thanks
The reception area is very attractive when you walk in and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We paid extra for a Premium room and it was clean and comfortable. The location was excellent for us as we were dancing at Whitwick.
The corridors looked scruffy and in need of decorating. We were last into breakfast which was 30 minutes before end of breakfasts and there was very little left. It was nearly cold and the service was pretty poor. We had to look for staff to get served.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Pleasant room with large window.
No restaurant on Friday Saturday or Sunday nights even though you advertise this facility as 7 Days a week. Very small bathroom.
Good location and excellent staff
Despite the loss of entertainment venue 'the emporium', this hotel still serves a purpose of giving Coalville a cheap, clean, comfortable hotel for those who wish to use it. The staff are friendly and it has useful facilities. I used it for its central location, not far off the M1 as I made my way South.
Rooms could be modernised and I struggled to get my heating to work on a cold August night.
Friendly comfortable good value for money
Room good have been cleaned better - poor wifi reception in rooms
Friendly staff Good restaurant Very quiet environment Will come there again
needed to use the electronic key several times to open the door
Stayed here because it's about a 10 minute ride to donington for bsb. Located opposite the Victoria bikers pub. Would stay again.
Bathroom was dated
The room was a good size and was clean and well equiped. The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. The staff were very kind and helpful and so made our stay very comfortable.
Adequate accomadation but really needs some updating. Breakfast ok but not a lot of choice.
Staff disengaged. Need more attention to detail and service
the location , the welcome was pleasant. room nice and tidy clean, complimentary chocolates biscuits and coffee yum , breakfast ok but not the best
needed a twin room as travelling with my son and they gave me a double breakfast needs improving and eating in the evenings
Helpful staff. Easy to find. Reception area good. Bar well stocked and prices reasonable. Budget price.
Rooms need good clean and new carpet. Toilets had boggy smell and we had to get bleach from reception.
everything we have been b4 and this time was r friends wedding renewal but my hubby took ill Karen on reception was fab
could do woth new carpets and be a bit cheeper for drinks failing that all fab
great parking and town centre location
Clean, with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was well cooked too. All in all good value for people who just want somewhere to stay with no frills. Would use again.
Excellent friendly receptionist also a chambermaid we spoke to was extremely helpful.A lovely room in a lovely hotel with excellent parking facilities-10mins from shops.Would certainly recommend to others.Bonus -no steps to climb!Extra Bonus- Beds were very comfortable!!
Curtain was off it's 'runners' one end - which rather spoilt the look of things- but that was the only thing I could find 'amiss'.
Everything we always stay here place is fab and Karen the manager goes above and beyond to help you as do all staff
Felt slightly rushed at breakfast we like to have time between courses but felt rushed but everything else was fab x
I didn't stay as this was for friends but they passed on that everything was fine
