Very welcoming, easy to check in - bright and airy - reminded us from the outside of the old tv programme Crossroads - nothing fancy about the place but conformtable and clean (bathroom a little small and dated but again very clean) Good breakfast and service. No complaints at all.

The Hotel was easy to locate and the reception staff on arrival and departure were most friendly and helpful. The room was extremely comfortable, clean and, overlooking the local bowling green, was quiet and peaceful. Tea making facilities included biscuits!!! and even chocolates on the pillow!! I couldn't fault it at all (especially at the cost!!) and would recommend it without reservation Couldn't fault it at all and if I'm overnight in the East Midlands again I would have no hessitation in staying at the Hermitage Park.

The hotel is convenient for our remaining family in Coalville. Unfortunately the 2nd time in a year we have used the hotel for attending a family funeral next day. It is comfortable, clean and quiet and has a night porter which means we can arrive late after travelling from South Wales after work. The night porter is quite a character which adds to the experience or subtracts whichever view you take! Breakfast was good value and freshly prepared. Some of the rooms including ours are a bit tired now. In need of redecoration. We had executive rooms this time, but they didn't see the difference from last year and if anything last year's were better. The tv screen is placed where a mirror should be over the dressing table - not very practical!

The reception staff and bar staff, were very customer friendly, and went the extra mile, to accomodate within reason, one's requests. I would (will) certainly stay at your hotel again and recommend to others to do the same. Thanks.

The staff were very friendly and the room had everything we needed. Our room was quite drafty due to the single glazed wooden windows. Overall for one night it suited us fine.

The service from all staff was excellent and very friendly. They responded positively to all our requests Though comfortable the hotel was a bit shabby in places. The exterior needs some tidying. Meals were tasty, but my salmon had a very salty sauce, which rather spoiled what was otherwise excellent.

The hotel is clean and comfortable and the staff members are excellent, very friendly and helpful. We booked the hotel for the specific purpose of visiting something and got the room for the budget price of £50, I don't think I would have been happy to pay the full price of £75! The shower in our room went freezing cold while I was in it - not very pleasant at all, apparantly the system had not been turned on, so might be best to check first before hopping in!! Although we were offered a complimentary drink at the bar to compensate, so that was really nice of them.

The staff were friendly and attentive in the bar/restaurant. At 6:00am in the morning my phone went off (in the room) as was told it was my alarm call. Which I did not book, I was given a form on arrival and left the alarm call box clear. When I queried this with the guy he said "I booked it". When checking out there was no curtsey comment asking "did I enjoy my stay". I was given my bill and then took my credit card, I don't even remember them saying goodbye, have a safe journey etc. Customer service certainly needs a bit of work on reception.
