Proximity to beach and shops. Views of sea and park. Wonderful evening meal and breakfast. Lovely decor and excellent facilites in room. Relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. Complimentary rubber duck. Insufficient parking spaces for number of rooms and guests attending daytime events. Room was too hot at night, even with window open and fan on.

All the staff were very good as usual. Good location convenient for theatres. Two disappointments. I was dismayed that the wi-fi was out of action. There was no effort to reinstate it and it was not available at all during our Sunday stay. The room on the first floor was disappointing in comparison to our usual twin room on the 3rd. Floor. Hopefully our next stay will be better!

The views from the room were excellent and we particularly liked being able to relax by the windows. The room was comfortable and clean similarly the bar area where the service was efficient and friendly.

Very friendly hotel in an excellent position for all amenities. The room was very comfortable with excellent sea views. The breakfast menu offered great variety of well cooked & good quality food, most enjoyable. The staff were very polite and happy & quick to respond to any requests

Wow what a superb stay! I just wish I could have stayed for Christmas! Everything about the hotel was truly wonderful from the minute we arrived! Service 125% could not fault it and the cleanliness and location of the hotel also faultless .Thank you and I will be back !!!

The hermitage is a clean,comfortable hotel with friendly efficient staff and serving extremely good food at a reasnable price.the gift of a "hermitage" duck for the bath to take away with you is a humerous touch.I Shall certainly stay again.

We found the Hermitage Hotel excellent in every aspect and would not hesitate to recommend it. The attention they paid to detail was fantastic, and the staff were attentive and pleasant at all times, even on one occasion when we came in late from a show and ask for a drink. Well done the Hermitage Hotel, shame there is not more like you!! The only thing we would say is that the rooms were a little small, but very comfortable.

Having stayed at Hermitage Hotel before it is always our first choice when v Having stayed and visited the Hermitag Hotel et a in the past we always T.ry to get a reservation but its not always possible due to its popularity. Our last visit was very good.

We were a group of six and every one of us enjoyed our two nights stay a lot! The staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was cosy and clean and rather quiet. We ate dinner in the restaurant and food was delicious.
