A cut above a B and B, great room and en suite, breakfasts delightfully tasty and set you up for a day in Devon.

The cost per night per dog a little high for just the privilege of having them with you.

Everything was great - especially the entertainment for the litter of puppies causing havoc in the garden. Lovely touches in the rooms - the only downside was the fresh milk turned to cheese in the extreme heat.

I had booked Heron House for a friend who was travelling en route to Cornwall. I can only comment (as above) on the feedback I received from her

Heron House is ideally located in the village of Bampton. You can be assured of a warm welcome and very comfortable accommodation in this home of character. Breakfasts are exceptional and every effort is made to satisfy the guests needs.

    There is nothing to dislike

This B&B in a lovely old house has everything you can reasonably expect. Our room had a large comfortable bed with white fresh air-dried linen and real duvets, and a spotless bathroom with a selection of luxury toiletries. The breakfast was fabulous, offering a wide selection of cereals, fruit, yoghurt, fresh bread, homemade jams and marmalade. The cooked breakfast was perfect and Fiona, lady of the house and hostess extraordinaire, will also cook an evening meal to order. We enjoyed our stay very much.
