It was pet friendly, the staff were very helpful. The leisure facilities were great, our toddler loved the pool. The breakfast was brilliant.
Lovely hotel and facilities, food fab and service
everything, especially the big comfy bed!
slight little problem,my daughters had booked champagne and strawberries as a surprise in my room as we were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary, the receptionist let it slip as we were trying to book in,there was also another couple coming with usand she was trying to decipher which room was for who, she was a lovely receptionist but just spoilt the surprise slightly, my daughters a bit annoyed but apart from that everything else was lovely
Value for money, and great facilities. Didn't get round to using much due to length of stay but very impressed. Staff at reception were all very helpful. Room very clean and everything we needed in there. A very calm and relaxing atmosphere to the resort. Will definitely be returning for a longer stay to make use of at least the pools and restaurant!
Restaurant was very good Italian food, pool was good size and clean
Room was a bit run down, bed very uncomfortable and it was extremely noisy, doors banging, drunk, people running the corridors shouting in the early hours of the morning for a long time
Unable to dine in the main restaurant due to Christmas booking
The facilities in the hotel are excellent with efficient friendly staff. Breakfast is good, lots of choice and piping hot. Rooms are clean and well set out. Very large car park.
There was a Xmas party in the public bar, it was too noisy. The other bar closed at 10 pm so no lounge meant nowhere it sit in comfort.
The pool is excellent
On arrival we were greeted by a mass of people on the drive and outside reception. After fighting through the crowd we discovered reception to be the same. We were informed by reception that there had been a boxing match on in one of the function rooms. It felt like we were checking in at a nightclub not a family resort, only there was no sign of any security here. The crown had clearly been heavily involved in a boozy day. The experience was really not nice with the family. Then we found the room we were allocated was at the front of the hotel and directly above the noisy hoards outside.
Lush greenery, beautiful view, good cuisine n spacious room
Staff lovely and helpful, food in Victory pub cheap and cheerful. Lots of extras, swimming pool, sauna, gym. Although we forgot swimming gear. Overall brilliant hotel
Dirty glass and half drunk bottle of water, un-emptied bin
Loved everything about the place, really classy establishment, friendly and helpful staff, excellent location, can't prais it enough
Great hotel with perfect facilities. The Italian restaurant has problems. I am in the process of composing a letter to the hotel's general manager regarding this
Check in took 25 mins which is not good at all.
Location standard of rooms all the facilities and some very helpful staff
Some drinks not available in function bar but available in victory bar. Had inclusive meal with our stay with 14 friends and relatives on Saturday evening menu very poorly explained resulting in an argument about the bill (very embarrassing)
Staff were great. Pool was the best hotel pool I've seen in this country. The food from the Italian restaurant was gorgeous. The bed was comfy.
Everything was great about the hotel apart from the bed
Bed was to singles pushed together plus the beds are to hard.
The Italian restaurant in the hotel was excellent the food was fantastic the staff were very helpful , the swimming pools were fantastic , all members of staff in the complex were very helpful and polite
You need to put up signs to let hotel guests know what events are happening through the week as we only found out there was a tribute act appearing after it had happened
Perfect for a weekend break for 2 run down sisters just what we needed. Loved the facilities especially the heated outdoor pool!
The room service food was really poor. Wouldn't get that again. Bit of a let down to the brilliant hotel really
We were welcomed into the hotel upon arrival & every member of staff we came into contact with throughout our 2 night stay was lovely. The swimming pool was great & the hotel was nice & clean. We ate in the Victory pub & the food was nice.
The paint work in the bathroom could do with updating as it was coming off in areas & the price of food & drinks are over priced.
Location to hospital Quick check in and out Facilities
Dark bedrooms Small rooms Lack of sockets by the mirror for hair dryer
Ideally placed to visit local attractions but far enough away to avoid crowds. Set in lovely grounds, peaceful, ideal for golfers. Very nice breakfast and room.
Shower in room was very hot and were unable to turn it down further Furnishings a little sad and dated.
Staff were very friendly, breakfast food was very good
Decor too dark & dismal, no quiet lounge, very noisy with stag & hen & loads of noisy children. Would definitely not recommend for older clientele. Would recommend a children's area in the pub & a quiet area to eat for singles/couples
Itailian restaurant ...very good food but very busy and nosy
Very busy in all areas
as the family room given was only big enough for a couple not a fold down new, then having to pay an extra charge for a suitable room..of £25 a night (discounted from original asking price of £50 extra per night..and breakfast not included! Seems unfair as we were staying 3 nights..
