I loved the spotless outdoor pool and the steam room, the comfortable beds with white white linen, soya milk and berries for breakfastt and the spacious green lawns surrounding the hotel. Appreciate that you also enjoy the company of well behaved dogs. The restaurant staff were very helpful in organising a meal so I could out without milk or cheese. 2 sets of reception doors opening together - must be chilly for the staff lack of vegan options on the menu.

Staff in general very good. Room nice good views acroos Golf course. Close to Blackpool but away from hustle and bustle. In a parkland area by Stanley Park. Good leisure facilities and indoor and outdoor pools. No real lounge area just a couple of tables and chairs. Bar was very noisy and sky sports seemed the only channel available although beer £2.50 a pint on Sunday. Bucca di Beppo was expensive for small portions although good food.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. We were visited family in Blackpool so the location was ideal for us. Leisure facilities were superb. Breakfast was a real let down. Not enough staff on and lack of essentials like cutlery and milk! Good job our children weren't with us as it would have really made things even more tricky! I was quite disappointed with the lack of attention to detail. Considering this is one of the most expensive hotels in the area my husband and I booked it as a treat to ourselves and apart from the leisure facilities it want much better than a travel lodge and 4 times the price! Will try the Hilton next time I think!

Swimming Pool and Location Many tv channels breaking up. Menus very uninspired. Ran out of the only decent beer in the place. Ran out of strawberries. No decent beer in Italian restuarant plus uninspired menu. Starter I wanted not available as single portion. Breakfast same every day. General quality of food poor, and worse than on last visit. Only stay as close to hotel where I come to work.

Lovely place to stay apart from certain staff on reception area, not very welcoming, I'm a big believer in leaving personal problems and moods at home, especially when dealing with the public. Happy to help and smiles work wonders. Other than that we had a lovely stay, Food at the Italian was not brill but the breakfast was good. The spa facility absolutely excellent. Room service - domestic was lovely could not fault her. Will certainly go again but like I say, certain reception staff is short of a happy to help smiley face. Italian restaurant, not impressed. Reception Staff needs customer service training

Nice Location, Good Facilities. Good Food. Found the rooms to be to dark, can't help but feel the rooms need a main light, I also feel that there should be a single a4 laminated sheet in each room explaining the facilities available I.E. general swimming pool opening times, Breakfast/Meal serving times, where to go for breakfast, etc. I also feel that the restauraunts and Leisure facilities should have a period each day that is for Hotel Guests only.

I love the location. Ideal to take children out, to Blackpool zoo, walking distance, and also model village. Walk on stanley park, all so close and can be done in a day or two.seaside is not far, only 8 pounds in a taxi, if not driving, and then there is sandcastle and sea and sand. The food was of high standard, bedroom was of very high standard. The staff was friendly and very helpful, with a smile and manners. The only thing which is minor is that when a women is using the straighter or hair dryer, there is no power plugs/sockets near a mirror.Mirror is positioned in a place where there is no sockets near or I didnt see. Maybe it was desighed by a man. But the room was lovely

We were very pleased with the service. After making a mistake in booking and asking for a double room instead of a twin the staff were very good in re-arranging for us. We enjoyed our stay and would certainly use this hotel and all the facilities again!

Staying as part of a large group attending a dancing competition. Staff bent over backwards to help us. It was a shame we weren't in the hotel longer to be able to use the facilities eg. Swimming pool, which looked fab.

Unfortunately no much other than the breakfasts and Starbucks. The buffet dinner was sadly lacking in choices. Very dark room, no mini bar, no facecloth, no safe.

Staff very welcoming and helpful. Excellent leisure facilities. Clean and comfy bedrooms. Peaceful location but within easy reach of town centre. The only negative I could comment on was the over priced meals and drinks in the Victory pub.

The room was clean and comfortable. It was new years day when we arrived and a couple of the bar staff had obviously had a good new years eve! Hungover and unproffesional at there job. Bad language could be heard and they left one poor lad to run around doing most of the work himself( forget his name but he was very polite and helpful and he seemed embarrased at the mess the tables were in but he was rushed off his feet and couldnt do it all on his own!! There was no room service so went to the italian restaurant on site where it was a buffet £20 p\p it was a disgrace, the pasta must have been sat on the hot plate for hours, all dried up but amazingly it was cold! We only had a tomato salad and bottle of wine which the manager didnt charge us for after complaining. Later found out we wernt the only ones to complain. Maybe this was a one off due to it being new year but it has put me off staying thereagain.

I liked eveerything about the hotel until the last nightat the bucca hotel. It was awful really awful. Fromtrying to make you pay for a bottle of wine that you hadnot ordered. It really spoiled the night. The food at the bar was far superior.

Our room at the De Vere was excellent, spacious and clean. It was far superior to when we stayed last year, as the rooms have since been upgraded. Staff were very friendly. Facilities very good, with a swimming pool, bar & restaurant. The only slight criticism I have was that there was a hole in my bed cover. It would have been great if we had initially been provided with two towels each. Also some biscuits and hot chocolate sachets would have been nice.

A good location. Spa and Leisure facilities very good. Room very modern and clean. Staff helpful and polite. I have stayed at Heron's Reach many times and found it much noisier than it used to be. The foyer seemed very crowded with the coffee shop at the side and the giant pouffee blocking the access to the reception. Nowhere quiet to sit. Lighting in the bedroom quite dark. Restaurant felt claustrophobic with the new walls and all the pictures, some of which were inappropriate.

Its next to the golf course which has excellent facilities Breakfast was good Time it took to get lunch more then 45 minute wait. Lack of staff was given as the excuse (not really good given you already know how many people are staying at the hotel) Diner was very poor. The only fresh item on the plate was the green beans. Items on the menu not available at 7.30pm (Really poor)

Pool was nice rooms were clean staff were good Italian restaurant food was poor and looked like a mc donalds. The bar area tables were dirty and had empty plates stacked up for long periods of time . We bought a single vodka with no mixer and were charged £4 for it even though on th round before it was less than £2 ,staff said we had been undercharged on the first round . We were told breakfast was served until 10.30 on our arrival on boxing day but on the following day were turned away as times had changed to 9.30 but no one had let us know and there was no info in the room. Overall I would say the leisure and room facilities are good but the rest is below average
