All of it,the rooms werevery dark bathroom very small no room to put personal things..and they are using untrained staff,to serve meals..the spa are was very dirty did exspect more ..

we were in room 334 and a lot of noise disturbed our sleep from below ie banging doors and bottles or similar knocking together until late .maybe we were unlucky and were directly above the beer cellar

The hotel as a whole was superb, staff couldn't do enough for us. The facilities were excellent and couldn't have picked a better weekend weather wise to go.

As we arrived in the room there was litter by the bin and as I went to pick it up I realise that the bin was full obviously from the previous people using the room. Not a massive gripe but I am being picky on what was a very good weekend on the whole.

Every thing it was lovely

We have stayed at the Heron's Reach on a number of occassions and find it ideal for our needs providing you don't have an evening meal in the Resturant which is ordinary to say the least.

We made the mistake when we returned to the Hotel one evening of having a drink in the bar and even by Hotel standards being asked to pay over 10 pounds for a small glass of house wine and a single Gin and Tonic is an absolute rip off.

The Reception Staff on arrival were genuinely friendly and helpful. Service for dining and breakfast Good.The food at dinner was exceptional (You need to keep that chef!) I cannot remember having such well cooked food in an Hotel.Piping hot too! We had a mixture from the set menu and a la Carte, can't fault anything, breakfast was good too. Rooms were comfortably warm and clean, TV worked,Phone worked, no smell whatsoever in room,even though it was one allocated for pets, room not grubby at all. Comfortable mattress and clean towels. Overall a very comfortable stay.

Facilities Good but a little grubby around the edges. Sauna and Steam not hot enough.

Lovely hotel. Although we didn't make use of them, the pools looked excellent.Our room which we upgraded was really comfortable.Loved the Starbucks in the reception area.

The food in the restaurant was a disgrace.The carvery vegetables were cold.The beef so tough couldn't eat it.All meals were poor. Service really slow. Many customers complaining. Waitress answer was 'I'll tell the chef'

We were very disappointed in the hotel food and restaurant. We waited ages for our evening meal the calamari was over cooked and very chewy,we then wanted a peach belini to be told was no peach so we ordered another cocktail which took 20mins to make and came after our main course which was very disappointing. The next mornin we had to wait for a long time to be seated for breakfast and was given a teapot with no teabag in it..then we Qued up for our breakfast and had to wait 20 minutes for beans which was absolutely ridiculous and by the time they had come out our breakfast was freezing this spoilt out stay at your hotel as our evening meal and breakfast was a large part of our experience and feel very let down by the service.

Breakfast was dreadful. plates were cold, tea stewed..toaster very poor toast just fell out on to table at the back of it,kitchen staff looked fed up and were rude.. Beds were comfortable but duvet was to small for cover it was very lumpy because it got lost in cover.!! i asked at reception to have it changed..but low and be hold it never got done.!!! would i stay again.!!!...........erm big fat NO..

No room service arrived back from concert at 2210 told no where to get food in the hotel and given take away pizza menue very very poor

We have stayed many times and now its even better with the outside pool

Loved this hotel- really enjoyed our overnight stay which was all too brief. The staff were courteous, kind and helpful- nothing was too much trouble. Food and service in the Victory bar was excellent. The room was spotless and comfortable. The kettle did not work but it was replaced as soon as we reported it.

I found getting in the shower difficult as there was no grab rail and having a slight balance problem I was afraid of falling.

Comfortable bed

The room was filthy, we asked for it to be hoovered when we arrived. The wardrobe area was covered in dust and so was the mirror. The breakfast is always poor and I usually done even bother, half cooked bacon and sausages and black pudding that is only cooked on one side as its laid on a tray overlapping, I know this because I have cooked thousands of breakfast in a long service career.

We love this hotel been here 4 times now both with and without children staff always very friendly and we feel it is a very kid friendly place too very enjoyable stay as always
