Since about 20 years I have been staying at this hotel (before it was Holiday Inn) regularly during my stays in London - it is my favourite location. There are unavoidable steps down to the reception area at the entrance of the hotel. This is bad for handicapped persons and also carrying up and down suitcases. I cannot understand why the management do not put a ramp down one side or find another solution - I have mentioned this in writing (on their appraisal form) on several occasions but to no avail.Not really a hotel for small children. |

staff was very helpful when checking in reservation price jumped by over £120. This was reduced to the original booking price when original reservation was presented. booked room with double bed and was initially given a room with two singles. room was changed without issue though. |

very good access to train, tube, buses and shopping areas, efficient friendly staff, clean rooms, good breakfest swimming pool out of order despite one of the key features |

Convenient location, comfortable room with every thing one could need. I had requested a quiet room and get it. Staff very helpful. I did'nt eat at the hotel so can't comment on the food. Good rate meant great value in convenient location right behind Victoria Station. The air con did not work and so I had a hot, stuffy night. Window, for obvious reasons ( sixth floor) only opened a little bit. |

Lots of space in room, very clean, great air-conditioning system(was very hot in London at the time of our stay), & very close to rail & bus stations. We stayed for 3 nights & our stay was perfect. We're visiting London again next month & will be staying at the Hesperia Hotel again. |

Room was clean and staff was courteous. Very easy access to Victoria Station which was a huge plus! View was horrible. The building is adjacent to an office building. Shower was complicated to work. The shower should definitely be updated. |

The Hotel is in an ideal spot, with very easy access to trains/underground and walking distance to alot of amenities. The room is a generous enough size for a cental London hotel and tastefully decorated. The staff are very warm and friendly. This was my second time staying in this hotel. |

The room itself was much larger than expected. The bathroom was excellent. The location very close to Victoria Station gave us a very good access to the tube and Gatwick Express. There were just a few more or less evident signs of wear and tear in the room. |

Location, Friendliness of Staff, Modern fresh feel to the facilities, costs competitive. Whilst very clean and functional etc the bathrooms could do with the same extent of modernisation as the rest of the room. |

Pleasant room. Well situated in heart of London. Theatres and sights nearby, such as Buckingham Palace, St James Park. Well connected to Gatwick by Victoria station which is very close by. The breakfast was very expensive and would prefer the option of a small continental breakfast at a reasonable rate. |
