Wonderful setting and accommodation
Good breakfasts Quiet in the evenings Plenty of parking Free access to castle and grounds Friendly staff
Rather dangerous walk to Henry Vlll pub! Not very generous shower gel, shampoo etc No fruit/snack food for evenings
Lovely location, quite room, very high quality.
Breakfast starts at 8:30, which is too late for a business traveler
Great period furniture in huge rooms. Contrasting with modern bathroom with might shower.
Luxury at its finest
Great place to stay for a special break, staff very nice and helpful.Breakfast was in a beautiful panelled room and was excellent.lake and garden very well laid out and the castle itself is lovely
No mini bar facilities, and I know that it's absolutely not hevers fault but the air plane noises were very noticible from about 5ish in the morning, could do with a bit of double glazing but I suppose it is a listed building
Fantastic luxury accommodation, value for money, great location, great service, would recommend to friends
Serene beauty Quiet
We loved the unique location, the beautiful castle, the historic room, the four-poster bed, the chaise-longue, the view of the gardens, the afternoon tea, the baronial dining-room, the very full English breakfast and the smiley, helpful staff.
We liked pretty much everything!
The most opulent room we have ever stayed in, a real taste of how millionaires lived at the start of the 20th Century. Breakfast could not be faulted
Had to check back in before midnight after going out on Sat eve, but this was not a problem for us as this is a place to come for a restful w/e
Great location, beautiful area
Had to ask for towels in the room, teenagers serving at breakfast never brought tea or coffee to us
Interior Decor and setting beside Hever Castle and gardens
Cleanliness of cutlery at breakfast not up to standard. A fly in the fresh orange juice. (We suggest the management puts covers on the fruit juice jugs if flies are about.)
The room was huge, beautifully decorated and very clean. Our view was over the moat/lake and swans on the lawn ! Staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was five star, great value for money considering our room size and offers way more than your average B&B
Location and v peaceful
Room in the attic with view of a sloping roof at arm's reach No wifi or phone signal available in that rroom
Location , Breakfast , Staff
No evening meal or swimming pool
It is easier to say that we enjoyed our stay totally - loved the grounds - buildings - breakfast was great - staff were great as well - we will stay there again in the future. We also enjoyed the King Henry Pub.
We would have liked to send our family and friends some messages -
Sleeping in the comfortable four-poster bed, the huge bath, a perfect breakfast, and walking around the grounds of the castle before it was open to the public.
An extra table in the room to put things on would have been nice - but this is a small point.
The rich furnishings and painting,
Be nice to have the option of dinner in the evening.
Early morning and evening access to the grounds without the public - very peaceful.
Long time for the hot water to reach the bath room (Rm Geranium).
The four poster bed, the hot and plentiful breakfast, the view from the bedroom, the antiqueness, the friendly helpful staff, the dining room is amazing.
I found the portions at breakfast on the big side. Would have liked the choice of a small portion.
It was lovely to be able to use the Music Room and the Billiards Room to just sit around and enjoy the atmosphere of a place designed to make guests feel comfprtable and at home. Plus, our bathroom was huge, with its own fireplace and a large walk-in shower as well as a rolltop bath.
The price and location make it difficult for us to go back any time soon!
The fact you can walk around the grounds when not open to the public made the stay very special.
There was no bar.
Everything was just exceptional the views , the grounds and castle where breathtaking and then the Castle just cannot put into words cannot wait to revisit next year
There was nothing that did not meet or surpass my expectations
The comfy beds, whole welcoming atmosphere of hotel. Dining room was beautiful and breakfast excellent
lights in bedroom and bathroom were too dim to see to makeup or do my hair. No bar facility in the evening.
