Wonderful quaint hotel in historic Haworth in the heart of town, steps away from the Bronte Parsonage Museum and old church. We had a delicious dinner in their delightful old pub & restaurant downstairs, which was a big plus. Helpful staff.

I have been visiting Haworth for many years now (fifty plus). In all those years what I still love about the place is how it has remained loyal to its Bronte architecture. As well as the Bronte connection it is surrounded by some of the most beautiful, undulating countryside in the world. Some of the hills are not for the fainthearted, but less challenging walks are around that also offer spectacular views well worth the effort! Courses are run at the museum, in art and literature, for all ages which I highly recommend. The Haworth Old Hall is good for Bronte ambiance, featuring mullioned windows, inglenook fires, and good, wholesome food. Also, Haworth Old Post Office, delightfully quaint, has a great menu choice with rear, outside tables close to Haworth's parish church of St Michael and All Angel's . A day spent in Haworth offers plenty, but for the whole experience, steam trains, far reaching walks, slice of the Bronte's world, a longer stay is a must. You don't need to go far for the magic, it's all around!

Haworth is the most wonderful 'step back in time' place and I have loved it for years! Don't miss the preserved steam railway with its wonderful events, walking the moors up to Top Withens, and the fabulous churchyard!

Wonderfully steep, picturesque main street but too many pubs, restaurants and retail outlets catering for tourists like ourselves. The main attraction for us was the Bronte Parsonage museum which was well worth visiting, and walking up to the moors.

The Bronte Parsonage was excellent and perfect for a Bronte fan. The Fleece Inn does excellent food and drink with large portions. Lots of opportunities for walking around the area. Very easy to get to Haworth on public transport. Main Street has some lovely shops and places to eat, though bear in mind it is quite steep! Train fans will love the Worth Valley Railway nearby.

Like going back in time with beautiful cobbled streets and fantastic countryside views, quirky shops and cosy cafés and pubs. Lovely local walks and Bronte Museum. A place full of History with a warm and friendly atmosphere. Main street is very steep and cobbled so not good for those with mobility problems, prams or wheelchairs, otherwise it's just beautiful.

Haworth is such a fab place to visit.

Haworth is such a fab place to visit. The Bronte countryside is softer than the moors of Saddleworth where we live and it is well worth getting in the car and just touring the local area. The high street is an experience all by itself. It is worth visiting other than at weekends though if you want a less busy experience. But be warned... not much happens before midday on a week day. The rover ticket for the railway is highly recommended.. you can travel up and down at will and stop and get off and on when you like. The museums at Ingrow are a must for rail enthusiasts. We were there for our son's wedding at nearby Ponden Mill but stayed in the centre of Haworth. We had a nice pre wedding do at the Old Post Office and others ate at various places but with mixed reviews. A word of warning.... Cobbles and Clay is tempting because it is right on the main street but we had bad experiences all 3 times our party visited. Customer service is poor. There is mush to do and we will be going again as we still haven't got to the museum.

The Artist Hideaway was the perfect spot for our weekend stay in Haworth. The property is beautifully furnished, with great facilities, and in an ideal location just off the famous Main Street. Vicky is a wonderful and communicative host; the bonus of snacks on arrival, and fresh milk and coffee in the fridge, made us feel welcome and at home straight away!

Good breakfast. Good room with tea and coffee making facilities and a sink, backed up by your own large shower room close by. Parking nearby over the weekend. All made this a great place to stay right in the centre of Haworth Main Street. Lovely to spend a couple of days in Brontë country courtesy of David and his brother at the Apothecary.
