Heworth Court b&b was a very friendly place to stay. The room we had was comfortable. There was a wide choice for breakfast every morning. We had an evening meal at Heworth and it was excellent. We will come back and stay here, maybe in November. It was also about 10 mins walk in to York City centre.

The friendly staff . Our room was very comfortable and warm.It helped we parked our van in car park round the back leaving us a short walk to our room. There was a lovely big court yard for guest to use in the nicer weather to (nice surprise). Breakfast was very good, service was very quick and with a smile . The bar was a nice touch to for you to end your day. There was nothing we didn't like.

Staff were very friendly, in particular the young waiting staff in the restaurant did a tremendous job. The no drink no food sign in the guest rooms, seemed a little extreme.

I didn't like that the rooms my pal and I booked were NOTHING like what is seen on website. We were in the annexe and boy did it feel and look like rooms from the 70's. Desperately needing updated. There was no heating in the en-suites so as it was a very wet and cold weekend we were not comfortable. Also our breakfast on the Saturday was cold and as my pal is a vegetarian, she was disgusted that her scrambled eggs tasted of kippers! The young lad who served us apologised but none of the senior staff came to see us. Not a good recommendation. We were so disappointed. We hope to visit York in the autumn but will not even consider this place again. Pity!!

We had a lovely stay and the reception staff were excellent. Breakfast was good and the accommodation was good. The only constructve critcism would be the showers water pressure is not up to standard on the top floor. Lift could do wonders to OAPs. It is confrotable and food is good. However, I was excepionally pleased with the service especially with the reception staff.

Nice area. The room was very large. The staff were helpful and friendly. Flexible with breakfast - they didn't mind substitutions. The breakfast was only available until 9:30. Too early for those of us on holiday. It would be nice if they served at least until 10:00

The staff are friendly, polite and very helpful, the accommodation is very comfortable and clean, the restaurant food is first class. There is a secure car park with CCTV. The whole experience was excellent and we would have no hesitation in recommending Heworth Court. We would definitely book there again should we be looking to stay in York, and considered ourselves lucky we chose the Heworth Court B&B. We have no negative comments.

Short walk to city centre, friendly staff, good breakfast, half decent shower Walls were quite thin and rooms a bit noisy. Decor a bit dated too (1970s-esque).

It was a easy walk into York and as it had its own parking you did not need to use the car. The room was warm and very clean. The breakfast was excellent and the staff very friendly.
