The dining facilities were very good. Staff were helpful. My single bed was too narrow. There was too much noise from the road to the hotel early in the morning. |

I loved being there. It is such a stunningly beautiful house and the grounds are lovely. There was a very relaxed atmosphere. The staff were very helpful and nice. The children were made welcome and a nice cot and bedding was provided. The breakfast and dining room were lovely. We will be going back. A trivial point - not everyone likes having a shower head that is fixed high up on the wall, especially when trying to wash young children. |

We booked a standard double room which was situated in one of the wings. The room was very basic and felt like a student dorm. Also the entrance into the wing was in need of a hoover. We upgraded to one of the rooms in the main house which was very nice and had a wonderful big bathroom. The hotel a lovely with fantastic surroundings but is in need of a little TLC. The food was god and we had a very enjoyable stay. Building work on the golf course and leisure facilities are underway at the moment. Also the gardens need a bit of looking after. The hotel has the potential to be great with a little TLC. |

Very little Main house has beautiful, period rooms, gardens and no doubt bedrooms (within the main house) but the remaining standard/all other rooms leave a lot to be desired. The quality of these rooms don't even reach travel lodge standards. The room which we stayed in had dead insects on window sills cob webs and squashed insects on the ceiling above the bed. The bathroom was like something that resembled a 1960's hospital...cold, dated and very uninviting. One of the worst rooms we've stayed in. Very poor indeed. |

We were given a fabulous room above the front door with fantastic views. The staff were polite and friendly. The hotel is gorgeous, would stay here again. Windows could have been cleaner, tv was old and sound was poor. Nothing else really. |

"Stately Home" setting was wonderfull. Freedom to roam the park at will was great. "Budget" accommodation was basic...In particular the double bed was very hard, & had very narrow duvet which did not cover adequately.Extra pillows would have been nice. Kettle element was rusting (changed on request). Discovered mould on a slice of toast at breakfast(appologies received). |

The house impressive and the staff were attentive Many of the rooms are VERY basic, though they are cheap, this is hard to see from the website |

Really friendly, helpful staff. Beautiful location and historic building. We had a standard room in the main house with plenty of space and a proper bathroom. The quality of the evening meals was very variable. Would have like to see the table d'hote menu changed every day, rather than every now and then. |

Tthe surroundings and the Park were lovely and some of the rooms in the main house are spectacular Soem of the architecture of the newer additions is dreadful and the accommodatoin block was decidedly utilitarian with the room facilites being fairly basic |

Beautiful setting! Nice big room and bathroom. The main area is amazing, but the actual hotel rooms are cold and ugly. A pity as it does not fit in with the rest of the "look". |

The approach to Heythrop Park is outstanding! Overall the building and grounds provided the perfect backdrop to our stay. The rooms were well presented, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was the continental type and just right for our needs. Price wise Heythrop Park offered excellent value for money and we would definately book again. |

The grounds of the Hotel were spectacular plus the original buildings of the Hall were very impressive. The bedrooms were a little bit dated and fairly small although this would not deter me from visiting again. One really simple improvement would be a better quality map of the grounds that reflected scale and actual paths. |

The main building, though a little shabby, is beautiful. It's very, very cheap... Horrible music being played in a grand room during breakfast time. Too few staff on at a busy breakfast meant they were all a little rushed and snappy. Better service relaxes guests... |

the peace and quiet and the beautiful setting. Staff were courteous and it was very very relaxing break. The room was slightly small and dark as it faced trees and they took away the light. For the amount of money we paid the evening meal was acceptable but it seemed dry and precooked. The restaurant felt like a dining room and there were insufficient staff. Although there were quite a few people in the Hotel it still felt empty and lacking "the small detail" that makes the difference. |

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay in the main house. The views from our window were beautiful, and so was the room (chai). The staff were excellent, nothing was too much trouble. Our evening meals both nights were good and breakfast was a nice surprise as we were expecting a continental but got a lovely full english buffet. All in all an excellent choice, well worth the money. pillows were a bit hard. |

What a stunning venue. Eye popping style, so luxurious, and the views from the sitting rooms were just gorgeous. The room in one of the "new" wings needed some minor repairs to the paint work, that's all. |
