had a brilliant night stay. Would highly recommend. excellent
Beautiful place. Home from home. Amazing facilities and every need catered for.
Hot tub was great, as were the ingredients provided for breakfast, all very top quality. Great location and the facilities were beautiful. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts and I would highly recommend this as a perfectly situated and very reasonably priced base for Alton Towers
Quietness and area. Good standard and breakfast was lovely
Lovely rooms. Hot tub and sauna was fantastic.
Fresh ingredients for breakfast which can be cooked at own leisure. Free WiFi Close and easy drive to alton towers
Family suite spacious with everything you need Fantastic bathroom Wonderful friendly owners Location first class Hot tub very hot!! Lovely ingredients for breakfast replenished daily
We had a ground floor suite and suffered with noise from above
Hot tub and sauna was lovely. Stunning apartment, would definitely stay again
Only thing I didn't like was I only stayed one night wish I had booked longer
From arriving to leaving, the service could not be faulted. Joseph made us feel very welcome. The self contained apartment was spotless. The fridge was well stocked with fresh food and plenty of utensils. The bed was very comfortable. Although we didn't try the hot tub, it seemed very popular with other guests and quieted down at an appropriate time in the evening. I would recommend Heywood Hall to anyone looking for accommodation in these parts,
We stayed at Heywood Hall as we planned a day out at Alton Towers the following day. We originally looked for larger hotels and came across Heywood Hall. With a young child, the accommodation and facilities were perfect for him. As I'm sure many parents agree, young children and a sit down breakfast in the hotel's restaurant isn't always a relaxing experience, however with being able to cook breakfast and enjoy our usual routine whilst still having the feeling of being on a short stay away from home, Heywood Hall was the perfect option. The area is beautiful and we enjoyed our stay very much, so much so that we wished were able to stay another night. When we return to visit more attractions we shall certainly be getting in touch with the lovely couple who made us feel welcome.
Very pleased with the hotel just a shame we couldn't make the most of the facilities ie hot tub
The room above had a young toddler that kept running about at the very early hours of the morning. Good job we we're tired
It was a beautiful apartment bigger and better than the pictures. Good facilities. very nicely decorated and I loved that we were left to our own devices. To come and go as we pleased.
tv in the main lounge kitchen area could be bigger and the upstairs apartments could do with carpeting as it was very noisy when the other guests were running around watching tv etc.
Location, apartment, hottub everything. We were made very comfortable and welcome will definitely stay again - a must try.
We had a weekend at Alton Towers and their location is excellent for this.
The toilet and sink are seperate from the shower. The shower is in the bedroom while the toilet is on the hallway. Was a little bit annoying.
Friendly staff Very very clean Big space Outdoor facilities (sauna and Jacuzzi) Full set of breakfast Easy to find for first time clients
The price :)
Really really friendly welcome. All local produce in a very well stocked fridge. Extremely clean. Highly recommended
Superb, comfortable, location, value
We stayed in the Rebecca suite. It had a lounge, kitchen and separate double bedroom with en suite. We were greeted by one of the owners- Mrs Petitjean and she showed us to our room, as well as showing is where the hot tub and sauna were. It was my husband's birthday that weekend and when we arrived there were birthday balloons and a little banner across the mirror in the lounge; a lovely touch. Breakfast ingredients were ready and waiting in the fridge for us- all locally sourced. All in all, it was a wonderful stay. It is a hidden gem which has been decorated beautifully, both inside out. Give it a try. You will not be disappointed
Room was very clean and spacious , owners very friendly and welcoming . Close to alton towers Jacuzzi and sauna excellent Breakfast ingredients plentiful
Lovely location - great for Alton Towers - nice to have the freedom of an apartment and the convenience of cooking your own breakfast
Bit noisy from the rooms above!
We stayed in the larger family room at Haywood hall, the children's ages were between 1 and 14. The room was perfect, it suited everyone's needs. My eldest 2 celebrated birthdays during or stay and decorations and cake were a lovely touch that meant a lot to the birthday boys and us! I would defiantly recommend staying
comfort and such a peaceful place to stay. very quiet.
gravel pathway if you wear heels its not easy walking.
Very welcoming, good breakfast supplies
Only issue would be that there were children in the hot tub til late so we didn't feel like going to relax in there
