Great hotel in perfect location. Walking distance to Liverpool one, cavern club and night life. 2nd time staying here.
the location, staff helped us carry bags up stairs due to lift being broke, friendly staff, quiet hotel in general, loud outside but can not be helped, free tea facilities, very cosy and clean room
lift broken on 1st day so had to carry bags to top floor, safe did not work and staff weren't the most helpful regarding this, some areas very tired and need re-decorating
Very close to city centre, minutes walk from seafront. Room is nice and clean, bathroom also very clean and well equipped
Smoking smell in the little lobby is really bad, it gives a very bad first impression, although rest of the hotel is clean and smelliness. Duvet is too small for an average person.
Liked everything about the hey wood house hotel! Me and my husband stayed for our 6year annaversery. We normally stay at the hard days night but last time we stayed the staff where not very nice so we found this hotel!! :) Staff where very friendly, the room was big and very clean, the bathroom was lovely and had a big shower, bed was so comfy, even had a window seat! Loved our stay and on checking out was different staff and he was lovely can't falt it
Didn't like that there was only 4tiny milks in the try for tea etc. that's it ha
Such a cute hotel. I would def stay here again!l everything seemed brand new in the hotel. It was also very quiet, which means a lot to me. Great location! Walking distance to everything.
Parking would be the only downfall.
Clean large comfortable and stylish room with excellent bathroom. Friendly staff and 40% discount for the L1 Q-park.
No bar/restaurant open. I feel for the price you pay, for what Is a very nice superior room, a bit of breakfast could be thrown in.
Great place to stay, clean, room & bathroom great
Lift wasn't in use.
The staff were very helpful and made us feel welcome. The location is pretty much central, which was great for New Year. Parking is easy as well (at nearby Liverpool One Q-Park) and, with the hotel discount, was cheaper than we expected. Most reliable free wi-fi I've ever had in a hotel.
All was well.
Great location....in the heart of Liverpool One Free parking opposite hotel after 6pm! Staff very friendly and welcoming Quaint building with mod cons Tea, coffee, water and biscuits were a nice touch Bathroom beautiful - old fashioned bath
Unfortunately the heating system didn't work and it was freezing! It's a hot air system, no radiators. Sadly, spoilt our one night stay. Free internet worked, but very slow. No option for breakfast, but John Lewis nearby does a fab full English for £7.50!
Everything was up to a high standard and the staff were very polite I had a great stay
Lift was broken for a couple of hours and it was very slightly dusty in the room
Location, Staff, Rooms are quiet and comfortable.
heating is via air con
From the moment we walked in the young man at reception couldn't have been more welcoming, he offered to upgrade our room, happily brought ice to the room for us, all with a smile and positive attitude, thank you! We slept really well and were not aware of any outside noise as double glazing works really well, thick curtains kept the room nice and dark, so no problem having a comfortable lie in after a great night out. All in all a very relaxing stay.
Did not on this occasion use Wifi, so cannot comment on it but our experience staying in Heywood House was nothing but positive, no negatives for us at all
