Proximity to the docks, Cavern club, bars and shopping. Rooms were nice and quiet
Parking was a walk from the hotel. Our room location was not convenient for someone with a large suitcase (multiple sets of stairs once off the elevator)
Comfortable niche close to Albert Dock
Breakfast arrangement inconvenient
Excellent location for visiting the centre of Liverpool for shopping and night life. Overnight parking is good value for city centre location, the hotel offers a concessionary rate.
Be sure to unload your bags first as the car park is a bit of a walk Q-parks located under Liverpool 1 shopping area
Nice decor, friendly staff.
No breakfast provided and the sockets kept failing.
No bar. If coming back late had to call secrity to get in.
The room was well decorated really plush and modern, lovely and clean with good towels and bedding. The room had a plasma tv and even a Bose Dock. Staff very freindly and a really good experience
breakfast would have been lovely but no food available at hotel at present
Right in the heart of where we wanted to be. Excellent value for money. No fuss check in and check out. Room was just amazing. Would definitely recommend and definitely stay again.
Location - very close to shopping, also Albert Dock and other tourist attractions. Modern Room Comfy Bed Friendly staff
location and facilities
room was poorly lit no lights on dressing table to make putting make up easier, lights in room were not very bright making room very dark
Good location and lovely service. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I had an early appointment and the staff very kindly made my room available. It made my day
Great location between the water front and centre of town. Comfortable bed.
The view out the window was of a brick wall, but this is to be expected in a city centre location. The public corridors could have done with a good hoover. No breakfast on offer.
No secure car park
Good location, near supermarket and bus stops. Also the room is clean and equipped almost every facilities should in a hotel
This was our second time staying at the Heywood House Hotel, and as they were the first time the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is great, just round the corner from james street station, a short walk to the Albert docks and the city centre. One of the best value for money hotels i've stayed at.
The only thing i can think of is the wifi was'nt great!
Lovely stylish plush rooms..beautiful roll top bath....central location and friendly efficient staff
The location and the staff were always friendly especially the night porter.
location / decor / cleanliness
The rooms are very comfortable. Location is superb. One block to Waterfront and to Liverpool One. Ideal for both tourism and shopping. No breakfast but complimentary muffin and (good) coffee.
Overpriced and very bad customer support. My partner was sick and unfortunately, floor was a bit messy as a result. Hotel staff charged us 100 pound with no warning, not offering any other alternative. Also, electricity didn't work properly so devices couldn't be charged and wifi signal was poor.
Friendly staff on reception, let us check in early as we arrived early. The room was spotless and very modern in style so we could not fault it, the bathroom was again spotless with an amazing shower and a little rubber duck to keep you company. The bed was very comfortable so had a good night sleep. and all the little extras as well, the ipod docking station, iron with ironing board and hair dryer. Even enjoyed the hospitality tray as it had more then just tea and coffee on it, it had a selection of different teas and hot chocolate as well. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to any one wishing to stay in Liverpool. Also the location is great as it is very central and walking distance to almost all of Liverpool's major tourist attractions, shops and nightlife bars and clubs.
Location is good. Excellent power shower and comfortable bed.
Over priced at £209 per night.
location. nice room (standard) friendly staff.
no breakfast, but this isnt a problem, loads of places nearby
No restaurant/breakfast faclities at present
A good location and friendly staff when they were available. The room was clean and comfortable.
The hotel seemed pretty basic overall and the wifi was poor. Then again I've yet to stay in a hotel where the wifi is any good! I would say the hotel is a little overpriced.
