Good sized room with plenty of natural light, comfortable beds and clean, well equipped en suite. Restaurant food and service excellent. Hotel Staff could not have been more friendly and helpful.
Guest WiFi needs to be more reliable and room would benefit from a functioning radio.
Room not made up no towels room not clean 1 hour plus wait for dinner
Fabulous hotel. Fabulous owners fabulous restaurant.
Everything recommend this place to everyone !!!
Everything else food was top shop
Recovering from back problems booked for jacuzzi and sauna which did not work but the rest of the hotel has had a facelift and is very nice
Location, friendly helpfull staff. Rooms spacious and clean. Breakfast excellent.
Benches in the restaurant are far too high. Sauna not finished, step needed for hot tub.
Very friendly hotel and owners and staff could not have done more to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The children were very well catered for.
It was all very nice some work being done on sauna apart from that excellent
Lovely bed. Great linen, soft pillows, good duvet.
*hotel only reopened the day we arrived after refurbishment to a very high standard *owner came and talked to guests individually - very welcoming *staff extremely helpful - we arrived late Friday evening but it was no trouble to make us a light supper *food was plentiful with an interesting menu superbly cooked. Very good wine list to choose from *Everywhere was warm and comfortable
*the location is a long way from centre of Tenby - a minibus or taxi service would make visiting and eating out in town easier as there is very little parking in the town
One of the key things with any hotel is the staff. You need staff that are smart, friendly, happy and competent. Heywood Mount staff tick all the boxes, never did we feel like 'guests' we felt like valued customers who were looking for a comfortable few nights with good food. We got the lot!!
One of the best all round hotels I've stayed in. Amazing staff, rooms, food, everything. Couldn't find fault with anything. The owners can't do enough for you and make you feel so welcome. Already booked to stay again.
The leisure and spa facilities were good. The hotel was peaceful and comfortable.
A small leak at the balcony doors so the carpet nearby was damp but the hotel was about to be refurbed.
Staff and owners extremely friendly. Hotel currently being upgraded to a Spa Hotel. Location was good as could walk into Tenby or short taxi ride (£3.50). Would recommend to friends and family and look forward to returning when spa packages become available.
There was nothing that our group disliked about this hotel as it suited our needs adequately.
Very friendly warm welcome nothing was to much trouble. Although the hotel was under new management and refurbishment was still in progress the standard of the accommodation was excellent and the service was second to none. We only stayed for a short two day break but would fully recommend this venue and intent to return in the near future.
Very friendly Made us very welcome !!!
Nothing not to dislike....
Friendly and helpful staff and good food
One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was the leisure centre but when we arrived the changing rooms were closed for refurb. and pool was cold. We should have been told at time of booking
the a la carte menu was reduced to half due to unavailable produce? when the meal was served it was awful and inedible we complained and received a refund when we checked out in the morning but the evening had been ruined such a shame!!!!!!!
It was lovely with friendly staff ,lovely rooms really enjoyable.
Everything a traveller would like to enjoy in accommodation, frieindliness and comfort
Warm and friendly reception. All staff helpful. Lovely room, spacious, clean with small balcony. Air con/heating excellent. Great breakfast and evening meal. Peaceful part of Tenby. Plenty car parking space.
Wifi poor. Swimming pool cold, perhaps due to work going on. Also smaller than expected. Improvements to hotel should result in a really first class facility. Slightly difficult to find hotel, mainly due to poor road signage.
The hospitality of the staff. The food served in the restaurant. The gym/sauna/pool. The location, perfect if you wanted to go into Tenby not too far to walk, really cheap to get a taxi.
the service was excellent in every area of the Hotel. The restaurant was very good.
We stayed in the William Allen room,4 poster bed, jacuzzi bath,TV,CD player plus fridge freezer with a small balcony room was very peaceful staff were very friendly (Janie was stand out for us) food was excellent and reasonably priced would definitely stay again! Lovely 1st anniversary stay
