Fire alarm at 6:45am both mornings. Limited evening menu. Plastic tablecloths on breakfast tables

I have stayed here twice in the last week, each time it took at least 15 minutes to check out. On both occasions the fire alarm went off waking everyone up at 6 o'clock and no apologies or explanation from the staff, just a sign at the front desk apologising for this - so this must be a regular occurrence. All from a hotel that would cost you £250 / night if you arrived without booking, so best avoided unless you can get a really good rate.

Booked 3 x twin rooms. Got none. 1 double bed and camp bed. Disgusted as grown men had to sleep on travel beds only fit for small child.breakfast a rip off at 16.50 pounds .reception totally in adequate and couldnt care less attitute had even charged for car parking without even asking .I had booked for the group and so spent the whole time trying to explain the hotel was at fault. I await your reply.

The location to the nec

We stayed in room 213 it was very cold bed was extremely uncomfortable felt like it dipped in the milddle. We were opposite the function hall where there was loud music on the Saturday night and we were not advised of this.

Friendly staff, nice room at a reasonable price.

I had asked for a twin bedded room, but on arrival was told we were in a room with one double bed, that my request did not appear on the booking they received. I had to show them my booking slip that I had printed at time of booking, then the staff said they would 'upgrade' us to a better room. The room actually had one double bed and a sofa bed. The sofa bed was not ideal for my son in his early 20's, but as we were only there for 2 nights I did not complain. The price of the breakfast at £14.95 is a bit of a rip-off, so we ate elsewhere. If the breakfast had been a bit more reasonable, we would have ate there both mornings.

Excellent breakfast - good presentation and lots of choice. Busiess facilities are excellent, and confrence staff very helpful.

Lower floor corridors and rooms are looking a bit tired, but there is evidence of a a rolling refurbishment programme, so this should be rectified soon. Not enough parking for the number of business meetings/confrence it hosts each day.

The gentlemen who does the airport transfers was very helpful

Shuttle to and from train station was great! Beds were extremely comfortable!

Housekeeping are very early...we got woken up at 8.20am with them trying to service our room

Inside was very tastefully decorated and the breakfast was superb.

Paying for the car park, I think it's not justified when you are a paying customer.

That day I went to the Nec in Birmingham to go to the bbc Good Food Show with my girlfriend we had a great day out I did rent a car with Europcar on there weekend speical that was £52.79.

It was Clean Easy to find Great location close to nec Shuttle bus to train station 24 hours a day Good advice on travel from the shuttle bus driver

When we booked in all we were told was your room is 123 and its that way! We were very disapointed that by that I would have thought that the staff would try to push all the different things that were on offer E.G gym, bar, food etc

Convenience, comfort, relaxation, enjoyed the spa. Convenience to nec.

Charged extra for breakfast.
