The location is excellent. Ample buses to city centre. Lots of nice eating places very nearby. Really appreciated assistance from reception staff and the choice of a smoking room. The bed was very hard. |

Comfortable, clean. In easy access of restaurants Unfortunately I obviously checked in with the wrong member of staff as she was unhelpful. I stood and watched another couple check in with a different member of staff and get all the information they asked for. I just got a yes/no answer and was all very unhelpful. Disappointed as no hot food for breakfast. From my room the road was very busy and provided lots of noise. |

Comfortable. Good customer service, nice staff. Good bus links. Only continental breakfast, I would expect more for a hotel charging over £100 per night. Have to pay for WiFi-expensive. |

Free parking, shops close to hand. Easy and cheap bus access to city centre, bus stop literally on the doorstep. Pubs, diners etc within easy walking distance. Breakfast, some cold cuts could be added |

There is a bus stop right outside the hotel and very frequent buses to the city for £1.20. Hrelpful staff. only one small lift working which meant we had to wait ages. Breakfast was a shambles, stuff had run out, not enough seats. However August is a very busy time of year, but not well organised. |

The hotel was excellently positioned for visiting the city and to reach restaurants in the evening. It was handy to have the free parking and the showers were good. It was extremely basic; considering the price of the rooms. We had a few issues with the comfort and cleanliness of the rooms. |

The information provided by the hotel, about local transport facilities in particular, was excellent, as was the good humoured professionalism demonstrated by all staff we met. |

Location of the hotel is quite good with a bus stop infront of it so that we can take the public transport to Edinburgh Old Town. It is good for a short stay of a few days. |
