Large comfortable rooms. All you can eat buffet breakfast was simple but adequate. Free internet for only 6 hours and only in the lounge. Most hotels, even B&B's now offer free wifi in the rooms.

The hotel offers Designated Smoking Rooms on the ground floor, which I thought was not permissible, the corridor smelled of cigarette smoke. If booking this hotel ensure that if you are a non smoker & the hotel is busy that you are not allocated one of these rooms. Room 118 suffers from noise from the air conditioning unit outside so sleep was distrubed. Therefore all rooms on all floors above or below room 118 must suffer the same noise issue.

We only stayed one night which was very relaxing the reason for staying one night was because we were going on to Aviemore, but we would stay at the Holiday inn in the future the room and breakfast was very nice. Thank you No complaints at all.

Easy to find. Pleasant welcome. Attentive staff. Relaxed breakfast. There is a good landscape strip adjacent to the main road. I would allow this to grow in a dense fashion (without pruning) to mask the busy road. I know that the hotel must be "seen" to attract guests, but in balance feel that greater privacy from the road would benefit the experience.

Holiday Inn as a brand means predictable quality. This was why we chose it, and we were very satisfied. The breakfast display was better than we expected. Spotless rooms. Excellent value for money. The atmosphere is nothing special, but we were philosohpical about that. This particular one (Stirling) is also not well signposted from the road.

We booked the hotel because we were going to Stirling Castle for Hogmanay. It was reported to be a 25 minute walk into the city centre. It is more like a 1 hour walk. We booked a taxi and to our surprise the journey took 15 minutes but was only £5.40, which we thought was very good. The hotel itself is situated beside Forthbank Stadium. There is a half decent resturant at the side and also plenty of major shopping areas nearby. There is also a cinema with a couple of resturants next door. We thought the location was just a little too far from the town centre for walking but a short distance in a car or a very inexpensive taxi ride.

1. Attention to detail from customer point of view is evident in fixtures and fittings in bedroom and bathroom. 2. Offer of complimentary provision of items e.g. toothbrush that one may have forgotten. 3. Very attentive and pleasant staff. 4. Good organisation of breakfast provision. 5. Complimentary copies of The Independent newspaper; much better than only The Telegraph often the only one provided in many hotel chains. 1.No consideration of non-meat-eaters in providing only meat sausages at breakfast and apparently no intention of doing otherwise. 2.The comfortable lounge/dining area had both TV sound and radio competing loudly making it impossible to listen to either programme or find a quiet area to read a newspaper.

Handy location just off the ring road. Close to the city centre, and all of the sights. Very comfortable bed, and rooms where very clean indeed. The only downside, and this is just nit-picking really, was that there was no bacon at breakfast.

The standard was very good for 3 star hotel . The hotel was quiet, clean and comfortable. We would have preferred to stay right in Stirling, but after reading conflicting reviews on other hotels in Stirling, chose the Holiday Inn as we knew the holiday inn standard. We were not disappointed. As a bonus, the resteraunt next door to the hotel had excellent food. As an Australian I had avoided hagis to date, howver, I couldn't resist the steak with hagis topping - excellent! About 2 miles out of town, but this didn't prove to be that much of an inconvenience as we really came to Stirling to see the castle.
