Owners were extremely nice, friendly and most helpful. Quiet location set close to lovely countryside and a pretty village. Short drive to the centre of Cambridge. The lodge itself was a small single bedroom with an en suite shower room with a TV, fridge, microwave, hair dryer and toaster. The owners were kind enough to stock it with cereal, milk, bread, butter and juice. The bed was not comfortable and there was constant churning sound in the room.

Great location, ideal for Cambridge, Duxford iwm and Addenbrookes. Use park and ride rather than car parks in Cambridge as they are expensive. We ate at The Navigator Thai Restaurant in Little Shelford and a Chinese restaurant in Great Shelford, where the service and food was very good. A quirky place to stay, with parking right outside your front door. Warm with a comfortable bed. Nothing, great value for money.

Warm, well provided for, and very quiet to get a good night's sleep. We really enjoyed our stay here. Wi-fi was out of range, but it wasn't a problem for us.

Nice quiet location with car parking, not far from Cambridge. Good bus links. A number of pubs and eateries within walking distance or a short drive away. Self contained unit with everything you need. Good choice for continental breakfast. The shower is fantastic. Very friendly and attentive service. Minor niggles really: The heating took some fiddling with for the first couple if nights. The Wifi wasn't brilliant. Phone signal in the area is temperamental.

A very nice self contained mini barn conversion at the bottom of owner's garden. Big modern bathroom with double shower, lounge/dining area complete with fridge, microwave, toaster & tea/coffee making facilities. Stairs leading to the bedroom which, due to the fact it is fitted into the roof space, feels like a luxury tent - quite a novelty. Breakfast is a do it yourself affair with bread and cereals being left at your disposal, as well as butter, milk, preserves in the fridge. We always look forward to a full English when we go away, but this was better than going hungry.

High green lodge is a lovely little cottage. It is basically laid out with a double bedroom upstairs, slanted roof and sky lights. It has a well laid out shower room, and lots of storage. We visited Duxford war museum (the reason for our stay) which was 10 mins away. Nothing.

The hotel is a charming little private cottage, which is available to guests in full. In front of a small lawn with a place for the car. On the ground floor is a spacious living room with all the amenities (coffee and tea set, microwave refrigerator, LCD TV, etc.), a very large bathroom and dressing room.On the second floor attic bedroom and another closet. Cottage is very pretty hostess extremely friendly and polite. Extremely quiet and pleasant place just a few miles from the city.

The location The bed was a little tricky to get in and out of but this we expected as the photo suggests. It was also a little too warm in the bed room and a sheet insead of the duvet would have been good.
