The property was a working farm in the middle of the most beautiful landscape. It is very quiet and relaxing.. We were surrounded by horses, cows, sheep and chickens. It is also very close to Hadrian’s wall and other Roman ruins. There are wonderful walks both near and far. Sarah and Pete are lovely, warm hosts.
