I was very impressed with this guest house. I received a warm welcome when I arrived; the bedroom was just right for me, and the bed was immaculate. I was very comfortable, and had a delicious breakfast - fruit followed by fried egg, bacon and tomato (from a bigger menu), together with toast and marmalade.

I stayed here for the second time and I have the feeling it won't be the last time.

Convenient location. V spacious room and queen sized bed. Large bathroom with window which, in our experience, is v unusual. High standards of cleanliness throughout. V good breakfast and service.

Hardly worth mentioning but as a big tea drinker more milk would have been nice. As it was v cold for late April the room was a little chilly.

At least I was able to watch CL match between FC Bayern and Barcelona in the room.

I was unable to shower due to old fashioned water boiling system. I will not use this guest house again. For the price, I could get something better in Loughborough.

I needed one night's accommodation in Loughborough and the Highbury Guest House certainly fulfilled my expectations. Warm and friendly, bed very comfortable and an excellent cooked breakfast. I would return.

The staff were friendly, the rooms large and we were treated to a superb English breakfast. The location was ideal and the parking facilities much appreciated. Oh, and the Internet speed was great.

The location was easy to find. Good breakfast.

Friendly staff, but I do not understand the high ranking compared to the other B&B's around, where we also stayed in the past.

Beds too hard. Staff not very careful about your belongings: during and after cleaning all room doors were left open for quite a while with no staff around. Work people, guests and others could have walked in any moment.

Very nice owners, always asking if there is anything they can do. I came in and they already knew who I was so very personal welcome as well. Don't really do food but cooked me a lasagna so I didn't have to go out anymore after a 6hr drive.

I was impressed by the cleanliness of the Guesthouse and its relaxed atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was very convenient for my purpose also. I would gladly stay there again.

I had an excellent experience. The perfect "country inn" experience. The staff was extremely friendly, professional, and accommodating. The room was lovely - adorable, quaint, comfortable, and very clean. High quality sheets. Spotless bathroom. Breakfast was a nice English Breakfast made to order (choice of fresh or tinned tomatoes, I loved it!) as well as a good selection of cereal, yoghurt, and fresh fruit. Free wifi. Additionally, I stayed in the lounge until my meeting late in the afternoon - the staff was kind and provided me with tea and biscuits. I used the free wifi and was able to work comfortably. I heard the story of the one poor review they received, and I can't imagine how anyone could write such inaccurate things. I would love to stay here again.

Just the oldness of the floors and stairs. They were producing certain amount of noise when people were moving around.
