Friendly member of staff, convenient location The hotel has clearly seen better days and is in need of renovation. However with a bit of investment it could be much improved. I was happy with my stay and look forward to seeing it spruced up a bit.

Great location, easy access to Ascot and Winsor. Will visit again definately. Hope the planned refurb. does not push the prices up too much. Obviously in need of a refurb. but didn't detract from an already comfortable hotel.

Very close for Ascot. Just what we expected for the money. Room small, clean and very quiet. Sheets and blankets (not duvet) which i like. Bathroom clean and plenty of clean fresh towels. Helpful smiley staff. Will return for same time next year hopefully Dated furniture and carpets

Itw as very welcoming in the morning. Had a good chance to meet the staff. Was very cosy and homely. Very convenient to go to High St for Dinner in the evening. Very appropriate for visiting Ascot or nearby sightseeing places as a local Hotel. Staff were very friendly. Definitely would visit again with friends for a short stay.

Only there one night, so hard to comment. But to be honest, the best thing was leaving. The hotel was very tired and well worn, it needed a face lift and staff who could speak/understand English.

The hotel was great for the location that we needed. There is on going work at the moment ( painting ).As our room faced the main road, the curtains had to be kept closed as there were no net curtains and the bathroom window (no net curtains again)was next to the night door used by all guests. The room would also benifit a comfortable chair to sit on.

Not much except location. It was a bit like Fawlty Towers. The only member of staff we met spoke very broken english and it wasn't easy to communicate with her. The room was very old fashioned but clean. The shower was only a trickle that went from very hot to cold. The toilet didn't work well and needed flushing twice. The tv was placed in such a way that the viewing angle, when watching from the bed, meant that the lcd screen could not display the picture correctly.

“Everything about the stay at foxhills was great. The room was very spacious, well set out and ensuite bathroom was fantastic. The breakfast was well cooked with lots of options. The spa was relaxing (especially the hot tub) and the golf course was in great nick.” Russell, Watford |
