A pleasant easy walk or a scenic drive takes you around the headland, crowned by Pendennis Castle, with wonderful views across the bay all along the way. Also close by is Falmouth's Princess Pavilion, presenting live theatre and entertainment throughout the year. The venue also has a delightful biergarten and a cafe.
The Eden Project, Helston, St Ives, Lands End and the beautiful Cornish north coast are just a short, easy drive away.
Highcliffe Guest House does not accept American Express cards.

Vanessa and Simon couldn't have made us feel more welcome. The attention to detail is second to none - the refurbishment of the room that we stayed in was outstanding with an excellent en suite shower and enormous bed. Breakfast was fantastic all freshly cooked to order. Nothing although the half hour window for breakfast 8.30 to 9 am was quite early as we both work extremely long hours and were looking forward to a chilled relaxing weekend. |

Run by a young family who's ethos seems to be give the guests the holiday that they themselves would enjoy. My wife and I stayed at Highcliffe for a week and would thoroughly recomend the guesthouse as clean, comfortable, family friendly, with great breakfasts and friendly staff. |

'Everything, I wish it was my house, it's gorgeous. The staff bent over backwards even making us tea and coffee when we arrived with little nibbles and the breakfast was really well cooked and fresh and the dining room is so contemporary and light. |

The friendliness of the owners and there willingness to help the guests in any way possible. The entire guest house has been redecorated in the last year since the current owners bought it and I think they have done a fabulous job. The location is good as it sets on the A-39 only two blocks from the beach front and is a stones through from the Falmouth Town rail station. It has 8 rooms plus the owners live on site, but there are only 6 parking slots. Wasn't a problem when we stayed and the house was full. They have done well to stay with a simple style of decor, but I would have replaced all the windows also for the thermal and noise barriers. |
