I loved everything. I have no complaints. The staff were friendly and pleasant to talk to. I cannot fault the food, the hotel, the room, the staff or the amenities.

In a good location off the main road with excellant views of the area. The food was good and the staff friendly with there service being excellant. The rooms clean and tidy and each day cleaning staff carried out there duties to keep them in that order.

Internal walls very thin - could hear every door close, tap run, toilet being used/flushed, next door's television etc.

Nice location, very good value for money, quiet and relaxing, good size room and very clean and comfy bed!

Bit tatty around the edges but good value for money Loved the four poster bedroom. The beef pie was burnt, we could not eat the beef, the dog enjoyed it though. When asked for a knife to cut the Birthday cake it was dirty.

I didn't like the fact that when I went to breakfast at 9.30 the fried eggs had been sat there a while and I could have bounced them against the wall

Very peaceful so could guarantee a good nights undisturbed sleep and restaurant available.

Television reception very poor and lack of maintenance in room.

Lovely place with good food and charming people - would certainly stay there again. Also very good value :-))

We only paid £100 for 2 nights for 2 people so did not have high expectations. it was better than a travel lodge but the breakfast was not as good as a premier inn breakfast. it was clean, but the rooms are outdated but for the price we cannot complain. staff seemed pleasant although disinterested in us - would have preferred a bit more bonne homee! shame there has not been more investment inthe place but then it would be more pricey i suspect. thanks

Very comfortable, warm room and bathroom. I liked the heating control which made for comfortable sleeping. The dining room was also comfortable, if a bit chilly, though to be fair, the weather was extreme!

The food was adequate, but ordinary. Proper coffee was missing for breakfast and 'plastic' sliced bread seems unnecessarily 'economical'
