Highdown Hotel & Restaurant  

I loved everything. I have no complaints. The staff were friendly and pleasant to talk to. I cannot fault the food, the hotel, the room, the staff or the amenities.

Quiet location but within easy reach of Worthing. Excellent carvery evening meal and very good buffet breakfast. Friendly staff.

Nearness of parking, all we needed, quietness, and the friendly atmosphere. Thankyou we were celebrating our Diamond Wedding Anniversary and were able to entertain our family who lived in Worthing with comfort and good service.

The quiteness food gardens and the area in general lots to see and do.

Rooms not very soundproof I was by the stairs and quite noisy

Good location. Staff very friendly. Eat in the Carvery in the evening good value for money. Lots of events being held at the Hotel. Plenty of car parking space. Easy to find. A very pleasent stay. Nice breakfast.

Only minor problem wardrobe in bedroom need fixing.

We had to change rooms as we had noisy neighbours. The member of staff that allowed us to change was very sympathetic, apologetic and helpful.

The first room that we had was clean and functional in all aspects and as the price was budget that was ok. The second room that we chose without knowing what it was like turned out to be the honey moon suite and it was fantastic. It was lovely to have a walk in shower. I have a history of poor sleep and I slept like a log which was wonderful. As a personal preference I would have added yoghurt and fruit to the breakfast menu.

A very warm welcome when we arrived, our room was very good ,most comfortable beds hot water all the time in the bathroom.the food was very good both at breakfast and dinner (carvery meal) we would recommend this hotel and stay again if we were in that area .

The hotel room was comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good and not at all expensive for what you got. Enjoyed our stay and would definately go back.

The tv in the room that we were in was very difficult to get any channels on and you had to use two remotes... This is the one thing that needs attending to.

Arrived early as meeting family there and the lady on reception was very good as she checked to see if our room was ready and it was, which was very handy. Carvery was very nice, great choice of meats and vegetables to choose from, breakfast was very good and hot - again a good choice! Perfect for the two of us for two nights.

Cheap furniture, tatty and damaged decor, have had much nicer rooms in budget hotels and expected a lot nicer accommodation from highdown. Room definitely not worth the price paid.
