The reception desk staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Would come again and recommend to others. Breakfast was excellent!! Small bath towels! Some noise outside during early hours but sounded distant.Restaurant not available for evening meal. |

Very helpful at check in and when we had a minor problem the manager sorted things out very quickly and effectively Not the world's most comfortable mattress and had to call for help with getting hot tap in sink to work and open windows. Breakfast staff could have been a bit more more proactive in welcoming guests and pointing out facilities etc |

The location is ideal; within very easy reach of the city centre but reasonably quietly situated. Staff was friendly and helpful. My room was comfortable, nicely decorated and well maintained. The breakfast buffet was diverse, plentiful and tasty. The only disappointing aspect of my stay was, that neither the room safe nor the ironing facilities were operational - essentials for the business traveller and faults that could easily have been rectified prior to allocating this room to the next guest. |

Simple, clean, warm, welcoming. Bathroom needs bit of an update - but on the whole, nothing else to moan about. |

Friendly staff, free wi-fi, free parking and the included breakfast are highlights. The rooms are clean and well decorated. Difficult to fault anything. I've stayed here over 4 times and it's my preferred hotel if I visit Southampton. Not really central - a bit stuck out away from the town centre. But if you are driving it does not cause a problem as there's free parking. |

Reception staff were very warm and welcoming and readily available for queries / assistance and gave leaflets on transport / local attractions. Breakfast menu had large variety of foods and staff very helpful. Room was cleaned daily and furnished to a high standard. Very homely and inviting atmosphere. |

Got the impression that it could get very noisy if there was a function downstairs or in the adjacent bar. Could also hear noise from adjacent & above rooms more than would normally be expected. |

Rooms were clean and looked modern and comtemporary, breakfast is very good value. Credit card/EFTPOS was not working so asked to pay cash which meant walking around to find a cash machine. Also the quilt/doona in my room was very short and my feet stuck out the whole night - and there was no spare blanket in the room so a little chilly. |

The room was clean and warm, which was ideal for us. The breakfast was lovely, lots choice and helpful staff. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel however on the second morning (Sunday) a church group were singing in one of the conference rooms below our room. It was very loud, you could barely hear yourself think. I believe that if we had been prewarned of this we would not have been so irritated. |

It was central to shops. The rooms were nice and compact. Very clean. The breakfast was very nice, fresh and plenty of choice. Very pleased with the hotel all round. Not enough tea and coffee in the rooms. Two people in a room and only 3 milks is not enough for anything. |
