Once we found the hotel the area was lovely and peaceful and not far from Southampton airport or city centre.

Bathroom was a bit small

Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. Clean room with good coffee making facilities and toiletries provided.

Insufficient car parking. Patchy wi-if - unable to use it in room.

The hotel was quite nice as was the buffet breakfast.

The walls were thin as the people in the room next to ours were quite clearly heard through the walls.

I was upgraded to a better room

There was an adjoining door to the next room and I could hear every word of the conversations next door, which were not very pleasant. Could also smell their Chinese takeaway, which stopped me sleeping.

I left my phone charger in room no 15 on 7th May (Tuesday) I telephoned the hotel the following day -she said she would phone back. I will return to the hotel on May 22nd and would like to pick it up then. Marie Preston

The hotel room was very neat and clean. I was with my 2.5 year old daughter and the room had a good ambience to be called a family room. Staff also was very corteous and Good Breakfast served.

There were only stairs to climb to 2nd floor with my luggage.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Breakfast was excellent, especially the locally made sausages. Alll of the food was hot, as were the plates, and there was a good selection. Although no evening meal provided, the adjacent restaurant was outstanding.

Within its price class, it's probably the best hotel I stayed in ( in the uk). Great breakfast, friendly staff, quiet location.

VERY WELL DESIGNED BATHROOM - WITH (AS MY WIFE MADE CLEAR) PLENTY OF ROOM FOR HER TO PLACE ITEMS VARIOUS ! ditto the very comfortable bed/pillows - we have already booked to visit you again for the 25th of July - dining area also very good with a nice breakfast !

NOT a major moan but the Television sound seemed to be very low - perhaps the hand-held volume changer required a new battery ?

Bedroom! Very small more suitable for one. Toilet base broken washhand basin cracked. Only two extreemly thin pillows. Found steps to bathroom awkward. Was disappointed this time.

The staff: rooms; restaurant (breakfast); reception Location: handy for restaurants, shops, and strolls. Lovely cedar tree!

Mattress - too hard yet sagged in middle Parking - seemed to be cars parked that had nothing to do with hotel. We had to park on grass verge (within car park)one night.
