Situated in the village of Ashby St Ledger, The Olde Coach House offers luxury rooms, a contemporary restaurant, and a charming rustic bar. On the A361, it is just off Junction 18 of the M1 motorway.

Set in beautiful grounds, the De Vere Venues Staverton Park features an 18-hole golf course, modern leisure club and an elegant restaurant. The hotel is situated in Staverton, just outside Daventry.

restaurant staff very helpful.thank you to Sara.
soap dispensers rusty.needs replaced.
Our superior bedroom was situated close to reception and therefor close to the dining room and function room. Thus we didn't have to go outside on a cold night to access these facilities. The bedroom and common areas were clean and warm. Very interesting old house and grounds.
No negative comment to make.
A night away for my husbands birthday. Beautiful room, very attentive staff. Comfortable bed. Lovely full English breakfast. Would definitely recommend. Excellent value for money
Food, bed, lovely size room, great staff
Room was too hot, which was strange for end of November but there were 2 fans in the room so they obviously knew about it but everything else was lovey.
Very much better than the usual business hotel. Staff very helpful. Bar food hot and good , not pretentious
We thought the staff were very friendly and helpful. Room service very efficient. Good breakfast. Also ideal position close to end of M6.
The food was lovely
When you arrive it looks more like Butlins due to unappealing 1960s bungalows, which unfortunately are called standard rooms. The rooms in the house need a serious make over, or very least redecorating and the bathrooms are very basic. Won't stay again.
Great, being able to take the dog. Lovely walks.
Welcoming staff Spotless room and comfortable bed. Attended a party and the food was plentiful and extremely tasty. Breakfast gave all the choices you would expect and eggs cooked to order. All staff where friendly and competent. Will look forward to returning when the opportunity presents
The restaurant was excellent, both for dinner and breakfast. There was also a comfortable coffee lounge with complimentary tea/coffee available throughout the stay, and cosy bar area with an open fire in the evening.
Highgate House doesn't look impressive on arrival as there is no view of the front of the house. Some rooms are situated in various assorted outbuildings near the car park so first impressions were a little disappointing. However, we had booked a room in the main house which was lovely, and we could not fault anything else about our stay.
The pictures on booking.com show a grand house. You stay in an extension not the main house I've stayed in cleaner and better travel lodges. We booked a superior room which was actually less superior to a standard room. mouldy bathroom damp patches and smelt.
Swimming pool was away from the main complex
Room was a good size, all necessary equipment available, eg hair dryer, iron.
Room was too warm at night. Heating was turned off but it felt like it was in full blast. Shower could be improved
Friendly, efficient staff. Well equipped and comfortable accommodation.
Slightly noisy floor above.
Good breakfast, nice pool, and we got a bargain price.
It would have been interesting to have some literature about the history of the building. This is not a complaint.
We stayed for four nights in October, having relatives nearby. It's a strange mix of hotel and conference/training centre. The picture would lead you to believe you would be staying in a country house, but in fact there are a number of blocks of accommodation for conference delegates, some rather utilitarian on the outside, and presumably they vary inside too. Our room was in the main courtyard block and some of the furnishings were very tired. The nearby road is fairly busy and noisy. Staff were excellent. The brasserie is a better bet than the restaurant for variety and value. Breakfast is good. Coffee always available in the coffee lounge. Swimming pool water temperature very nice and warm.
Tired decor in places. The lack of a view.
Both dinner and breakfast very good quality
Dirty shower cubicle Lack of decent phone signal
Free wifi. Nice food in restaurant. Pool. Comfortable room and bed. Accommodating staff ensured I could get 'nutiritional' breakfast before leaving early for sports event.
Room a bit too warm - easily remedied by opening window.
Bed was far too soft & springy
Stunning venue. Loved it! Room was fabulous highly recommend
Nothing it was perfect
Very very hot rooms, difficult to sleep
The peaceful location, the friendly staff and always the breakfast!
Comfortable room Breakfast lovely
Not being able to see the front of the house, our room was a back block off the car park, didn't feel as special as the front looks! Disappointing bar meal
Very helpful staff,, lovely comfortable room and meals excellent. What more could one want?!
Traffic noise from the road but I know you can't help that!
Breakfast was quite good.
The bedrooms could be cleaner, there are a lot of marks on the doors, walls and so on. There was no hot water anymore after 3 minutes in the shower, terrible experience when you are standing there with your wet half washed hair. A lot of noise from the road as well. We are not coming back!
