friendly staff.excellent breakfast..
Highgrove House was very convenient with easy access to the town centre, railway station, shops and restaurants. My room was clean, comfortable, spacious, and had a lovely bed. WiFi was very good too. I enjoyed a good full English breakfast one morning. And the staff were very friendly and helpful. A great stay in Bolton.
The shower in my bathroom was rather ineffective (Room 5). Guests noise in other rooms could sometimes be heard.
good all over
wifi was not covering in room i situated so it has to be working all over the building that was pain...
Staff very friendly & warm. Excellent breakfast well cooked & served. Very warm welcome. Would use this guest house any time.
Bed a bit high & needed some repair but otherwise no complaints at all
Value for money and comfort
Very friendly staff and pleasant, clean accommodation
The new heating made the bedroom very hot. Parking was down a side road.
Location, friendly staff, simple and friendly approach
Excellent Value. Very clean. Good Breakfast. Staff very friendly
good and friendly, value for reasonable price.
Facilities fair. Central heating on only the first night for couple of hours and completely off the second night. TV position for viewing not comfortable.
The location is very central to the town and facilities but just enough out of the way for peace and quiet. All the facilities I required were available in the room and anything else I needed I just had to ask. A lovely place and a very pleasant stay.
times for breakfast (too early during week days), internet service poor (actually didnt work)
Debbie is a lovely lady, available to give information, call a taxi and to help with what's necessary. I totally forgot that the plugs in the UK are different and Debbie immediately turned everything upside down to find a plug adapter for me. On the last day I had a very pleasant surprise for breakfast!
I could hear noise from the street and people walking upstairs. Should have asked for a silent room.
Debbie was very friendly
Breakfast was a bit poor and the times were limited
Debbie is a charming and generous hostess.
The Highgrove is an ideal location, near the town centre of Bolton. It is easy to find, with easy parking. It was cheap, clean and comfortable, with helpful staff. It had everything you'd expect to find in a budget hotel - except it didn't charge extra at the weekend!
Cleanliness, Breakfast, Friendly Staff and Good Parking.
Room could do with freshening up.
Friendly staff, great location, great amenities
Front facing bedrooms are very hard to sleep in, traffic is noisy
Cleanliness, room size, comfy bed and position to wher we wanted to be
Debbie was friendly as usual....an a good breakfast...
If im totally honest this stay was very noisy...coming from the people above us....they had children which is fine...but we could hear every word they where saying an running feet across the floor...but luckily we was out most of the time ....
Everything, especially the friendly helpful landlady.
Staff very welcoming and helpful. Good parking for car and I was allowed to leave my car there long after I checked out. Room was clean and had everything in that I required. About 10 minute walk to the centre of Bolton. I would certainly stay there again.
