Cleanliness and comfort, walking distance from town. Just the road noise and street lights in my room but the majority of the rooms are quieter, I would still recommend it 100%

Debbie, the hostess, was really warm and genuine. The facilities were wonderfully nice for the price. I booked a single room and was expecting 'hostel' type accommodation and was pleasantly surprised to have a proper sized room complete with ensuite, tv, desk/workspace, ironing facilities and a full English breakfast option in the morning! I was a bit dubious at first about the location. Its close to the Bolton town centre and rail station (which is why I chose it), but its on a busy unappealing road. Not much you can do about that, so its a perfectly functional location for what its meant to be.

We had a lovely stay. Close to all the facillities. Friendly owners, great breakfast, clean and roomy bedroom. All in all we all had a lovely short stay and would return. If possible it would be nice to have a lounge to sit and relax in.

The room was clean and well laid out despite being small. I like small rooms because they're cozy. Despite it having a skylight it was warm. Bed was comfy and clean. Enough pillows provided even for me. Tv worked well and was easy to figure out. I was able to pay for only one night despite booking for two without any trouble. When I met the landlady the next day she was pleasant and apologized for my trouble but it did not excuse the fact that when I showed up - on a very cold day - in the mid-afternoon - there was no one there to let me in! There was a phone number posted to call but I don't have a mobile phone nor do I believe I should have one just so I can call guest house operators that are not on the premises! Her son showed up after about 1/2 hour of waiting out in the cold. I had to go to a repair shop on the corner to phone a friend to come and pick me up. On a day of travel where there were plenty of problems this was the worst of the lot.

Quite. Friendly and convenient for town and station The bed in the room I stayed needs the mattress replacing as it is beginning to sag. Having stayed here before, I can say the beds are normally excellent.

I was well looked after and made most welcome. My room was excellent in the attic at the back of the house so it was quiet and warm. The bed was first rate - a consideration when you have back problems.

The room was well decorated and spotlessly clean. The shower/toilet was entirely satisfactory and the beds very comfortable. The room was very quiet and we both slept well. The english breakfast was well cooked, very tasty and one was able to "pick and mix" to suit your own taste. A very good guesthouse fully deserving its reputation and excellent value for money. We will certainly stay there again and would recommend to friends.

Debbie was a cheerful and pleasant woman who took care of the B&B.She took the time to spend a few moments chatting with me.Thank you. The room I had was very nice except you could hear the guests above me,speaking, walking about in the room. When the remodeling was done, they should have considered some sound proofing of the floors.
