I found the atmosphere very friendly and 'Homely', and the Hotel very well run. The building itself has a lot of Character, and History, -and is an interesting place to stay. |

the characterful outside of the building was attractive. The breakfast was good. linen on the beds was a bit tired and dreary but the inner sheets were clean. Bathroom would have been good with heating in it. It could have smelt a bit fresher. |

Easy parking, staff friendly when they were there, very clean Poor area, in need of total refurb, lack of facilities, no hot water, freezing cold, smell of smoke, hardly saw staff, no where near to get food |

We especially enjoyed the full English breakfast. Being able to put all 4 of us in a single room was also helpful. |
