Bath attractions and eating places
Staff friendly and attentive. Lovely room. Hearty breakfast.
The friendliness of the host was great. Felt very homely and warm; couldn't be more helpful. Really good to be able to leave car and able to be in centre of Bath within 10 minutes walk.
Very helpful Lovely breakfast
Friendly and welcoming staff. Very close to city centre. Well kept and comfortable room.
Everything including the dolocious breakfast was excellent
except the disappointment that they didn't provide toothpaste....
Walking distance from town Free parking Good breakfast Friendly staff
Wonderful stay at the Highway House with friends during a short visit to Bath. Hosts were very friendly and helpful, room was spacious and provided everything we could need. Onsite parking, gorgeous breakfast in the morning and generally a fantastic little place to stay. Definitely recommend.
The only flaw is the gigantic hill leading up to the hotel but you can catch a bus from the bus station up the hill (wells road) if you are not feeling too energetic.
Very clean, comfortable & great breakfast.
Location was good nice walk to city centre. Owner was very helpful and the kitchen staff excellent serving delicious breakfasts. Loved the character of the house.
Nothing to dislike.
Friendly staff and a warm welcome on arrival. Very comfortable bed and a great breakfast. Private parking right outside the front door.
Shower wasn't too warm or powerful. Adequate but not the best.
Shredded curtains, lurid green decor, jaded thin duvet, springs coming through mattress. Dirty tired shower room. Latest availability of breakfast 9am. Not good enough when on a short break.
the owner's kidness
The manager was friendly and helpful giving advice and directions. She cooks a good breakfast as well and the coffee is great.
Friendly staff, a warm welcome and great rooms. Breakfast very nice
The wi-fi was a bit temperamental
Lovely b&b felt at home straight away.very friendly staff.
I loved the warm personalities of the hosts. Victoria is a lovely and warm lady. The breakfast was very good. It felt like home away from home.
Friendly staff and great location! Would stay there again~
The facilities is good, we had a great breakfast . We took lots of fantastic pic on the top of the hill. It's a warm home for travellers in winter:)
The location is a little far from city centre, but the view is very good. If you travel with car it would be perfect, otherwise you would like to take a taxi, about 5 pounds from the Bath, in the evening.
The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent
The staff are friendly and welcoming and the house is warm and comfy. The breakfast was freshly cooked and tasty.
Cramped bedroom and tiny bathroom. Is set high on the hill which could present an issue for anyone with walking difficulties.
Good location. Breakfast good.
Family room was an outbuilding at the end of the drive not in the main hotel. Carpet heavily stained, bathroom sink cracked, toilet brush filthy, decor all in need of an update. Definitely not 4 star.
