As I said, I spended 3 nights on this hotel. I found out early that the toilet didnt work the first day of arrival. I waited a little to contact the staff about it. I thought it was just me that didn't know how to use british toilets (lol). Anyway, the next day I actually found out that the toilet didnt work and that it wasnt only me haha. So I complained to the staff about the problem and she/he said that I could get a new room if it was annoyed or I could just wait to the next day and there would be someone whos gonna check it. I was out almost the whole next day and expected it to be fixed when I got back. And my impression was that it wasnt even checked, so I had to complain again. But the staff was really nice, I got a new nice room my last day and the staff was so nice to me. The hotel is noicy on saturday night because of their nightclub but they inform guests about this so this wasnt really a problem for me!
So after doing some researches online and trying to find a great hotel in the middle of Hartlepool, I found this hotel. I liked that the hotel was right next to the train station, so I didn't need to walk long to find the hotel. The hotel room was really nice, and the hotel also had free breakfast. I did not try the breakfast under my 3 nights stay because of my lazy girlfriend, haha. Anyway! The staff is REALLY nice! I have never met such a friendly staff, they really made me feel welcome :) And the prices are also fine, you get what you pay for. I am 18 years old girl from Norway and this was my first time in UK. So this hotel fitted perfectly for me! Nice prices, shops and bars are nearby and if you walk a little longer you also have McDoalds, Burger King and Pizza Hut. ASDA and the shopping mall in Hartlepool is just a walkingdistance away so that's really great. If I come back to Hartlepool, I will book on this hotel again :)
