Proximity to town centre Very expensive for really what is a B&B (£93 dble room), much better value in better hotels in town we later discovered. Treacherous flight of stairs to reception and breakfast room, very squeaky floor boards. Very difficult parking for about five cars only. |

Staff v friendly, room v clean (but minute), peaceful. I was on an arts tour and spent v little time in the hotel (and only one night) so really can't comment more than I have - please don't chase me for more feed-back. |

The location of the hotel was very good for the Cathedral and Castle. I thought the hotel was over-priced and in fact was little more than a B&B. We were disappointed with the evening meal which didn't have a great deal of flavour. |

An excellent evening meal. Friendly and helpful staff. The shower took a long time to heat up and the strength of the water jet was poor. Only one bedside table for the double room |

The location and the breakfast and the receptionist The room was at the top of the house it was a very cold night and we had to ask them to bleed thev radiator as it was only warm at the bottom there was no room for bedside tables,no mirror, the bathroom was tiny with a hip bath and no heating, half empty shampoo bottles and soap wrapper left, shower ran hot and cold, pressure low, room only suitable as a single on web as newly refurbished |

the proximate to the city centre and the staff were helpful The carpet had not been hoovered, there was an unpleasant smell in the room like sweaty feet and the shower was poor. Not powerful enough and kept going hot and cold. Also breakfast finished at 09.30 on a Sunday, we were 5 minutes late and had to settle for tea and toast. |
