Score from 92 reviews Superb
cheap and cheerful, very clean
very noisy squeaky beds, when one person turned over during the night everyone woke up. TV a little bit too high and too small
Location very good. Cleanliness. Warm and comfortable. Excellent for dogs.
Beware path if icy, very slippy. Shower Luke warm and under powered.
The owner very freindly came round to check me into the room to save me having to walk back round to the house in the snow. Very much appreciated after a long drive. She had also put the lights and heater on for my arrival it was like home from home
Was clean room with comfort beds as well a the bathroom was clean
the tv was very small and poor WIFI also the owner of the hotel was tough guy there is no any food store nearby
The room had everything you need and was very clean.
Freezing cold despite heating on full. Room very small. Zip together bed with topper not comfortable. Exterior door onto room with no curtain/cover
Great location in Stirling. Great for families looking for a good value room. Staff helpful. Good WiFi coverage. Great :) :)
The accomodation suited us perfectly and would have no hesitation in recommending Hillhead Farm Lets
It would have been nice to have met someone instead of a not on the door but we arrived rather late and it was dark
Location Room was really nicely furnished but should not be used as family room untll spare beds have been improved.
Mattresses on campbeds that were put up for children were stained & so uncomfortable it was better sleeping on floor. Shower didn't work. Owner said he would refund some money, he hasnt. Emailed him to discuss this & he has ignored my messages.
well located, nearby attractions nicely kept gardens numbered parking space
we got a slanted low roof room. Kept banging our heads Very limited room space Bad smell in entrance Flimsy guest/children beds
Room 3 which was upstairs was lovely, very large. Lovely and clean and plenty of tea, coffee etc . Lady who showed us room was very nice.
Couldn't get any hot water in the shower. Not the owners fault but woken early (5am) by people downstairs talking very loudly outside their rooms and slamming doors! Also because of strong winds our door rattled all night so had to put a magazine in the gap the second night.
I was staying here for the second time. Lovely place, nice host.
It was new and clean and quiet. We could open our door to cool down as it went straight outside.
No bath Not enough pillows Quite expensive
Lovely owners, very nice and polite. Great price, clean rooms and comfortable beds.
No food in offer
The grounds & room were well-kept & attractive. Good place to stop for a night or two while hitting the local sights. Staff/owners couldn't have been nicer.Though the nearest restaurant was just average, it was within walking distance for breakfast/dinner.
The location was excellent close to the motorway but not too close. Stirling is ideal for visiting lots of sights.
Location was excellent and the price was fantastic. We would definitely stay here again if we made our way back to Stirling.
Walls are thin so you can hear other people and animals through them, but nothing that kept me up at night.
Friendly welcome Clean Lovely shower
The mattresses in Room 5 were awful, we could feel the springs, there was literally no padding between me and the springs. Apparently other rooms have memory foam mattresses, shame we didn't. We got no sleep.
Hillhead Farm Lets is modern, clean and private with beautiful gardens. I would recommend this to others and would stay again to explore surrounding histarical area.
Lack of information re historical surrounding area, local eateries, bus time. Local Brewers Fare which is the nearest place to eat was very disappointing with rubbish food hence information of other eateries. Establishment should invest in quality bedding as this was a bit disappointing.
The cottage was great
Clean and a nice staff
It was a newly finished room, everything you needed, although perhaps a curtain over the door might help privacy . Good parking easy to get across for a meal at premier inn. Nice very welcoming owners , well kept garden and property. Thanks for looking after us
The bathroom though very nice was a little cramped when you are on the toilet I.e the distance from seat to wall is to little. Perhaps the owners might move the toilet to the end wall to give more space
Location was excellent
Walls were very thin so much so that you could hear snoring from the room above
Newly refurnished to a good standard with a power shower worthy of the name. Friendly reception overal pleasant stay
As many people have commented the wi-fi doesn't work even thou it was mention while checking in
The welcome was so friendly we forgot the 7hrs in the car it had taken to get there! The room was clean and tidy with lots of space, even though we'd had an extra bed added. The children loved "being in the attic" with the sloping ceilings and skylight. Finding the little fridge meant we could buy sandwich stuff for our journey home. We loved it, and if eldest daughter choses Stirling Uni we could be back a lot!
Everything you need after a hard day travelling, working, or sightseeing. Beds were very comfortable. The location ideal for getting to the major routes quickly. Vey clean
