Hilton Aberdeen Treetops Hotel    

The service in the resturant on the Saturday evening was pathetic and to slow. 9pm till 10.30pm for a starter and mains is not acceptable. In view of this we passed on desert. Obviously it was busy in the conservatory but perhaps more chefs are required in the kitchen.

The relaxed atmosphere and polite friendly staff and facilities.

I like the location, the parking, the friendly staff and delicious breakfasts.

Well the bathroom didn't provide a toothbrush rack or tumbler. and rather unfortunately the first thing that caught my eye when I entered the bedroom was two very obvious black stains on the carpet near the TV.

Good food, friendly staff,good for shopping.

Restaurant and comfortable room. Leisure facilities looked good but too busy to try them!

Edges of room were very dusty and round door stop. You need to hoover up to the edges with a hoover tool occassionally so as to avoid this build up. Same with the corridor.

Well, we had such a laugh, but it was a bit off so I will tell you. I had booked 2 twin rooms. On arrival my daughters, very obviously in their 20s were given a room on the ground floor. I asked if there was not another room near, no sorry, our room (in our 60s!!!) was 2 flights up and no lift. So we went in search of room 208 - 20 minutes later and a lot of lugging of bags and laughs, we established that there was no room 208! - I left my friend 2 flights up with the bags, came back to reception and was told that a mistake had been made, and indeed the rooms did run out at 204 and in fact 208 was in the opposite direction, and yes there was a lift. So a very kind member of staff went back up for my friend to save me and I waited in reception, and waited and waited. Eventually I walked through the hotel and up 2 flights to where I had left my friend, but she was gone. So I came back down stairs, no staff around, so I tried the other direction and up in lift to find my friend, who had been taken a shortcut and was in our room - double - yes I did say at the beginning that I had booked 2 twin rooms. So I went back down to reception - yes madam has been up graded - but I want a twin room please - so guess what we were given a lovely twin opposite my 2 daughters on the ground floor!!!! So we moved in and went to see how the girls were fairing in their twin room - but you have guessed yes they had a double too!!! They are sisters so we didn't pursue a change, but when my friends say did you have a good time in aberdeen last weekend - what do you think I say??? Well do you want a laugh - wait till I tell you about the carry on to get into our room!!!!and that is a shame - I stay often in hotels like yours both here and abroad and the big difference in this country is you are given a key card and basically left to get on with it - a bit of service at this stage of a visit would greatly enhance the hotel

Staff were extreemly friendly and welcoming. Room spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Breakfast experience exceptional. A very quiet and peacefull location. Overall an excellent weekend stay.

Rather tired rooms, dinner was supposed to be 30 mins in ordering but arrived after 15mins, chef needs more care in presentation Caesar salad was rubbish lettuce still had brown stalks on it. £15.00 for internet for 24 hrs ??? Most hotels even the smallest now have free access.

Staff friendly- food good

Waited over an hour for a room (at 2.45pm). Hotel a bit shabby, although they are renovating parts of it.

The reception staff were very welcoming, room was clean and warm and breakfast was excellent

I had a business meeting in the day and sat in the bar area. I asked 3 times if the heating could be turned up during the meetings but to no effect. My guests and myself were very cold and I was embarrased for inviting them to meet me there. Lunch was good but please put the tea bag in the teapot when serving tea!

There was no hot water available in the room for a shower. The food and drink was over priced for what was provided and breakfast was served cold. Overall, the hotel was "adequate" and we would not recommend it or stay there again.

We had read some bad reviews before staying but as soon as we arrived I was pleasantly surprised. Hotels decor was lovely, staff were very friendly and we even had chocolates and a mini red wine in our room (deluxe double) room was nicely decorated. We have stayed in some of Scotland's top hotels so we have a lot to compare it too. This hotel is great for a weekend break etc. great location, staff etc and great selection for breakfast buffet!

everything i had to pay 20.00 or an upgrade as the original room offered was worse than the travelodge but at least there you got breakfast this room didn't include that either had to pay for that al in all the foreign staff didn't help as they didn't understand me would never stay there again worst hilton i have ever been in and i have stayed at a few they should knock down this run down hilton as the name does not suit it. Wallpaper hanging off the wall and outdated facilities. A VERY SHABBY HOTEL thats why you had to pay for a upgrade never again as i say i will be writing to them.

Stayed here twice now and have been very satisfied with the welcome we did receive from the desk staff. Nothing to much bother for them. Always polite, and always made to feel welcome. The breakfast is an enjoyable experience. First Class.

Dressing gown and slippers were not in room. Didnt notice this until we arrived back at hotel after midnight. So didnt want to bother reception staff. Sure if I had asked for them I would have been given them.

Cancellation Policy My flight to Aberdeen got cancelled at 19:30 due to fog in London. I called straight away. I got charged £129 a didn't even get through the front door !

rooms are too small and the beds as well, you can hear even the low voices from the next room, I picked up a smoking room option but when I reached there they told me that there is no option like this since all the rooms are non smoking.

Enjoyed the leisure facilities and the relaxing atmosphere of the hotel.

Room felt dirty. I stayed on 1st floor and workmen were working there building something and smell of paint present during my stay. Tradesmen started early in the morning again banging.
