Not much - very disappointed The facilities were very crowded, rooms were very small and basic, corridors long and layout of the hotel poor - dividing of some spaces meant when events are running guests have to climb stairs to avoid walking through those spaces (one of my guests is disabled), staff did not seem to universally understand the systems - witnessed several instances of guests being told different things by different staff. Not at all impressed. |

The hotel wasset in a nice location I did not enjoy the fact the hotel was very warm and that there was no air conditioning. My daughter who is never too hot even complained |

Food Hotel setting Room 254 very hot with no a/c Only available fan extremely noisy the room was not overly clean several cobwebs with resident spiders!Signs to hotel on a27 looked very 'run-down' and not very visible with foliage growing over them. Not good first impression. |

The other guests were down-to-earth nice and not too formal! The hotel was a bit conference-like but neat and tidy. Good range fo kids games on the lawn. The hotel is old but spacious, lovely light, well situated near the South Downs and the sea, lots to do. Good half board rate. Awful room, next to the kithen ducts and vents, also a large chimney near the window, view of the delivery yard which was noisy in the early mornings, no warning of the noise and smell these features would create. No porter or chance to see the room before taking our own luggae up, once we'd stayed a night I had to decide not to come again. We did not want to move rooms as we were exhausted from lack of sleep. |

staff on reception were very matter of fact and just reeled off the basic hotel facilities.we were told we were being given a deluxe room but it seemed all rooms were marked deluxe. bathroom sink waste leaked all over the floor |
