Score from 260 reviews Very good
Spa facilities, extremely friendly staff, options of where to eat good.
Wifi only free in lounge, which did not work well, as it threw you off in a few minutes. Disappointing. Should be free in your room for all paying guest. Come on now a days everyone needs Wifi. Should be Free
Beautiful fruit filled plate with Happy Birthday written on it in chocolate. Fabulous service. Lovely staff. Yummy coffee. Perfect evening meal. Chocolate tart to die for. Amazing breakfast that kept me full all day!! Beautiful grounds. Stunning hotel.
the staff very welcoming & polite, & the grounds would be great to explore in the warmer weather, breakfast was excellent Had an excellent meal in restaurant Sat night & the lounge area was good to relax & chat in, the rooms were fairly spacious & couldn't fault the cleanliness
room was cold on arrival, cooked breakfast cold on monday morning & same menu in restaurant Sun eve as Saturday & wine was expensive
The rooms were clean and comfortable and for a 4 star hotel very reasonably priced. The grounds are lovely and it must be a joy to stay here in the summer.
The bar food was not up to the standards of a 4 Star hotel and was a bit over priced.
Comfortable and quiet location...but close enough to Arundel and Chichester to do some shopping.,
lPoor cleanliness, inadequate staffing, chilly public area, poor breakfast, NOT 4 star
Location Good facilities
Tired venue Poor acoustics
Comfortable room with good facilities. Good breakfast.
Quite thin walls, window with view of the back yard!
all staff charming, helpful thank you Breakfast was excellent.
bed a little small. only one bedside light and nowhere to place drinks on one side. should have been sold as a single room.
First impressions did't inspire BUT the staff proved excellent and professional. The menu did the same but again proved to be great value for excellent food very well presented and the service staff were very good.
Room 150 was alongside the boiler which proved noisy but we were moved to 240 for our second night without any fuss so full marks for service.
Pleasant helpfull staff. Room was comfortable & warm. The kingside bed was extremely comfortable with excellent quality linen changed daily.
The breakfast buffet was superb in choice and quality of food, however this was let down by the food not being kept hot enough,
The building and its interesting history The breakfast The bedroom and bathroom
Poor quality of bread for toasting
We loved everything about our stay, all the staff were fantastic and food was amazing! The facilities were an added bonus and there is plenty to do.
The only real issue we had was that our room was right next to the stair case so could get a little noisy. I would simply recommend asking for a room a little further away.
Helpful &friendly staff
Dirty bathroom &carpet not cleaned properley .tired & dated..deluxe room not good value for money
Looks great from outside
Plaster falling off ceiling in room Shabby furniture with odd handles Not what you would expect from a 4 star Hilton hotel.
The bed was so uncomfortable and hard. The rooms need majorly updating as they are old and our of date. The TV signal was fuzzy and the bathroom was old and needed some TLC.
Basically very good all round
Steam room not really working. Having items on my bill I did not have
Location communal area (guest lounge) Breakfast
In the bedroom... hard and uncomfortable bed Cramped twin room (beds pushed together and only 18 inches either side of the bed to get in. No where to put toiletries in the bathroom Cracked and marked ceiling furniture & carpet needs replacing
The decor needs a refurb and the area children are allowed to run riot needs kirbing
Unaccompanied children in adjacent room were a little noisy.
Mince pie and hot chocolate on arrival. Room had everything in it like hairdryer kettle plenty of tea and coffee etc...
The wine was very expensive. The food pretty poor l was given french brioche bread with the pate starter and had to complain. The chocolate tart l had for pudding l left because it was horrible very cheap and dry with a tiny drizzle of cream on it only. Not nice!
Great breakfast, nice bar/restaurant area, friendly staff
very loud in the rooms, bed not comfortable and also creaky! £15 for wifi is unacceptable
No mini bar in room. Also lacking facial products in bathroom. And walls were thin between bedrooms.
Great bed! Clean and friendly staff!
the tv remote has no battery copver just sellotape holding them in and the tv was terrible. barely got the 5 major channels and a couple of those were very unstable reception.the shower wasnt too great and the water didnt run away properly so was a lot of residue water while trying to dry oneself.the towels were like drying yourself with sandpaperwith frayed edges and holes in them. it is the second time i have stayed at avisford park, there wont be a third.
