The location is great, the room was spacious and had everything I needed The squeeky floorboard in my room and also in the one above me, it was noisy throught the night. I booked breakfast in bed which I misunderstood I though it was £6 if I had already got Breakfast included, I was shocked to find I had to pay £11 for breakfast in the room as I have to pay £6 for the breakfast additional to already paying for breakfast and then £5 to bring it me, it would be much easier to just put £11 as you cannot really have breakfast in the room unless someone brings it so not to confuse anyone it should clearly say £11 and not detail it in other ways that are confusing.

Very friendly and helpful staff, room very clean and good facilities in room alarm clock, iron, ironing board and all bathroom accessories not used but available. Also fruit tea sachets for a drink which I have never had in anyother hotel. Fantastic breakfast what a wide choice and fantastic flavoured sausages, nothing was any problem to anyone and all staff very attentive from chef to floor staff Only thing was the price of a hot chocolate for my daughter £4.10 especially as she was taking it away I felt the price was very steep, at the airport the same hot chocolate at the costa stand which had cream as well with mashmallows which did not come with your one was only £2.60.

Excellent room, particularly liked the two triangular arm chairs which, when pushed together, made a two seater sofa. Staff attentive and friendly. Breakfast excellent.

Bar area was nice. Breakfast was good (buffet style). Plenty of parking but far enough out of town to warrant ordering a taxi. Staff pleasant. The bed was uncomfortable and sagged each side, which made my back ache. I did mention this on check out. More of a business hotel hence the high charge for wifi!

Staff very polite indeed - really minded if something was not right and tried to help; Room spacious with a good desk; Room service food was delicious. Under sheet was a duvet, and oversheet/duvet was too thin to be warm enough. Light at desk not very good for working. Continental breakfast for ?£11 - steep. All prices were pretty steep. Some staff didn't speak English well at all and were not easy to understand.

Beds on castors! It is absolutely ridiculous to have mobility as the primary requirement for a bed.

the room was warmer this time! The adjoining door? to the next suite was used by the person next door as a 'phone box' to make calls (on speaker!) from 8am on sunday morning!

Cathryn Wurst was the lady on reception on both days and she was really friendly, pleasant and helpful. Also the bar tender (sorry no name) on the Friday night - very helpful and nothing too much trouble. Walking into Basingstoke Centre - you have to double back to the car park entrance or struggle down the bank - hotels close to towns especially should be more pedestrian friendly with walkways out of the hotel to the pavements.

Convenient for walking into town As mentioned to receptionist, the bed BASES (not the mattresses) were very 'creaky'. We did not sleep much at all, as every time my husband moved, he woke me up (due to the noise from the bed base springs) and vice versa. We did tell the receptionist this & she promised t investigate. - Can you give me some feedback on this issue please.

Easy access from M3. Very comfortable rooms with plenty of space. Nice bathroom with some freebies. Coffee and tea making facilities. Good breakfast included in price. Quiet time for hotel accorsing to staff. This meant restaurant wasn't open in evening but usual menu served in bar area. This could have been better staffed, One man was doing everything.

Price Locality Staff pleasant and helpful Tired hotel we were in deluxe plus room Lifts not working. Rooms not on a par with other Hiltons. Well worn, lumpy mattress. Ill fitting carpets. Lots of grout come out from between bathroom floor tiles At 09:30 breakfast had dried under the lamps.. Croissants, etc looked unappetising.

We have stayed at the Hilton Basingstoke many times over several years when we visit our family who live nearby. The staff are always very helpful and friendly, the food is excellent and we feel at home whenever we stay there. I think the only thing we would change, is the pillows, 2 are too high and one is too low. That however is a personal thing

The location was very good just of the m3 junction 6 Unfortunately there was a fault with the fire alarm the night we stayed that meant from 4am until the Duty Manager started there shift at 7am the alarm was going off intermittently - after several calls to Reception I was informed that nothing could be done until the Duty Manager arrived on shift. I know this was a one-off but seeing it was the weekend before Xmas and I had earlier that evening consumed alcohol, I was trapped as I would of left earlier.... I am sure all that some other guests on this night would of felt the way also.....it was just a bit dissapointing that a fire alarm could be going off for over a 3-hr period!
