It is very well located in the city. The hotel is highly overpriced for the size of the room and the available facilities, you had to pay an extra £13 per person if you wanted breakfast. It is also very badly managed, we had the "don't disturb sign" outside the door, and the cleaners tried to go into the room an hour before check out time on our final day of stay.

I requested an upgrade on the internet because the upgraded room quite specifically stated that it would have a walk in shower. I assumed I had not had an upgrade since on arrival I was not informed of such in spite of the website stating I would be. Furthermore when checking out and querying the extra cost I was informed that they had only one room with a walk in shower and that I should have rung to upgrade!!! This is poor service in the extreme especially as the receptionist was surly unapologetic and made no offer of compensation. I will not be looking to book with the Hilton again especially as the room was no better than a Novotel or even a Premier Inn.

Location, friendly staff who keep in background as required. Good evening mail, good menu, well cooked, pleasantly served, adequate wine list. Convenient parking. Breakfast is poor. The cooked english is generally cold, greasy, and stale due to being kept heated en-masse. The porridge is tasteless and very lumpy. Lets the hotel down!

The location and the fact they very kindly changed the date for me at no extra cost - will definitely stay there again. Old TV's and no Sky Sports or Digital TV in the rooms.

Good atmosphere and pleasant room, very good breakfast (self-service) included in room price paid in advance online. Good location close to city centre. Considering it was a Hilton hotel with their high reputation, I would have expected more touches of luxury, e.g. there was no complimentary notepaper or pen provided in the room, and no Gideon's Bible either! The room was not that large, and the piazza outside could have been turned into a roof garden to good effect. The lifts were very small for such a large hotel!

Very comfortable beds and elegant design of room. Great breakfast. Helpful friendly staff. Slightly disconcerting design of dressing table which appeared to have splodges on it but which proved to be under the glass. So initial surprise at uncleanliness turned into surprise at design which made cleaning so difficult. Once I realised that indeed the surfaces had been wiped but were impossible to leave looking clean I relaxed on that one.

It is fatastically located and efficient in every way. Breakfast was very good. It is a case of function over form, the place lacks character but this is well compensated for by the practical aspects.

It was situated in the City centre in a prime location, the quality & comfort of the Hotel was excellent, but the main positive for us was the friendliness & helpfulness of the Staff, this was of the highest standard. We would recommend this place to anyone wishing a City break or for any other reason for spending time in the city. We had nothing to complain about, but when are uk hotels going to provide internet access in the rooms instead of just in the lobbies.

The staff were very helpful, approachable and very knowledgable about the area. The amenities of the hotel were good and the room although small and compact was clean and comfortable. Room service was excellent. The hotel was easy to locate on arrival into the city and had good parking facilities which was a bonus. The main city centre was less than 5 minutes walk away yet the hotel was very quiet and peaceful.

Great location and room, ask for the Plaza room, they are bigger and have a bath. The hotel is well located and great service from the staff. This is small but the doors slam noisily at all times, it is noted in the elevator that guest should be mindful of this but nobody pays attention especially after a long night out. The hotel should rectify this problem by fixing the doors. I don't understand why Internet is not free especially at the prices they charge. You can connect in the foyer for fee but that is not enough in my opinion. Small things but they are more obvious when the big things are right.

The hotel is very well located, in the town center. Wifi in the room was not free of charge...free Wifi ought to be a standard service in a hotel of this category. I also had some difficulties in adjusting the temperature of the airconditionner, which did not seem to work very well. Given these elements, the price of the room was to expensive, but unfortunately, there is not so much choice in the center of Bath
