Friendliness of the staff
Good location; Clean and comfortable, warm, but a bit small rooms; Attentive staff on reception;
Room was facing the main road with bub and was noisy until late as it was Friday night, would be good to instal noise proof windows or something similar.
Extra hard bed, shower performance was just a trickle not what is expected from a Hilton
We enjoyed our stay at the Hilton in Bath. Staff - especially the waiting staff - were wonderful; both friendly and helpful. Food was more economical than we have grown to expect in Hilton hotels - a welcome change - with a great voucher deal and special wine offer.
Wi-Fi (free as Hilton Honours) cut in and out throughout the hotel and whilst we appreciated the friendliness and willingness of the staff, there was a lack of experience in what they knew.
The city centre location.
Overpriced and untidy.
...exactly where you need to be. Polite and helpful staff & cracking breakfast
Friendly staff very helpful ! Sad no WiFi, TV signal was awful considering it was HD , our hotel view was looking down at the massive puddle , the hotel was surrounded by homeless people , the fire alarm went off at breakfast time I was enjoying my bacon managed to get a hot pot of tea just to be told to stand outside in the rain with my 8year old , 10 month old baby , whilst they follow routine , breakfast was ruined , the lovely view from the hotel was great to see the Avon river , the men that sit outside the hotel were very friendly , the tv had an ambient charm that reminded us back of the 80s you have to tune in picture yourself , one morning we were feeling bored so we got to stand outside and socialise with the other guests when the alarm went off ! Ps to our amazement the plates had shrunk in size at breakfast time from normal size dining plates to saucers ! we never amounted on the pounds this holiday With the optical illusion with plate swapping on the second day shrinking in size to saucers so we could not pile on the food or pounds!
Lack of parking facilities , Waitrose cashing in on us , on our arrival we were offered a room with a double bed and a sofa bed which was not adequate for 4 people was rectified by offering us altenitive room with two beds that felt like sleeping on rock concrete and the only comfortable bed was the one for my 8year old single sofa bed ! Lots of sleepless nights ! The large puddle outside was dragging branches all night making thrashing noises , greater disappointment never got to shake with Paris Hilton !
Well mannered and obliging staff esp Miss Aimee Richards on Reception
Terrible shower (room 418) poor pressure so pathetic spray. No water left out in room
Restaurant food and staff were excellent they made a special effort to put a birthday message on my wife's dessert. Hence substantial tip. Breakfast excellent too.
When we rang to enquire if we could book in early we were told there was a £25 charge. As I am a self-employed builder, who reimburses my 3 hour wait at £25 ph? I felt insulted with the drinks voucher. Parking not convenient and expensive.
Great location, very close to all the shops, nightlife and attractions.
Everything was lovely
fantastic food. great room.
breakfast under staffed and disorganised.
Ideal central location, clean rooms, good breakfast and friendly staff
Rooms would benefit from free Wi Fi in all rooms
Much improved on my last stay in Bath Hilton. Wonderful breakfast.
Pestered by tramps near the hotel. I know it's not your fault though.
Staff were great and very friendly. Location
Worst bed I have encountered in many years. Also poor quality linen and pillows. Could not stay another night. Sorry but Hilton should be much better in this area.
The bed was lovely and comfy. The location was perfect!
Disappointing for the price paid wifi was not included! The shower wasn't that great. Expensive parking to be added on top of an expensive stay!
Needed to be close to Abbey, so perfect for that. Comfortable room & good breakfast. Staff were lovely & helpful. Nice to have parking options.
If you want a nice view or exterior, this isn't the place! - it wasn't a requirement for me. Parking isn't guaranteed.
The room, friendly staff
I had never been to Bath before, I had to pay to get out of a car park I hadn't actually managed to get parked in. I then had to find 2 spaces during the course of the day before finally getting into the multi storey. I e mailed to enquire about meals before arrival - I'm stilll waiting for a reply! I rdered flowers, chocolates & champagne, pity they couldn't have all arrived together to make an impact for my lady partner instead of having to come in 3 times whilst we were in the room.
The location is very central.
The room was not ready at the advertised time, and when it was available it had not been cleaned properly. Although we had booked a room with a sofabed, bedding was not provided and housekeeping was slow to deliver that too. The wifi cost was exorbitant and the service poor.
Location, surrounding and the restaurant!
High priced for the room is stayed. Expected more for a hilton hotel!
Parking was a good location & just £15 Very nice bar area although quite expensive Easy checkout
I paid for a queen deluxe room but in my opinion it was very small
The breakfast was amazing so much choice and the staff where so polite and helpful. The hotel room was lovely with excellent views of the river Avon we were able to walk everywhere as the hotel is located in the centre of Bath, we would definitely choose to stay here again. We had a queen room and our bed was the size of two double beds very luxurious!
£15 parking fee the morning after
Central location, hotel comfort and excellent meals
Nothing to mention
Location is excellent. Facilities good
Bed was uncomfortable
