Its proximity to the NEC was its stongest feature Ithought the food in the hotel was overpriced for the quality of it and Ithought the adding of a service charge to restaurant and bar bills was ridiculous considering the already high prices. Others we spoke to thought the same. Was it that we were so far from other competition for these services? |

Charming receptionists, clean, comfortable, nicely furnished room, spacious public rooms, Wellbeing centre, good dinner efficiently served, huge breakfasr choice, freshly cooked and including lots of fresh fruit options - liked the option of omelettes to personal choice cooked on the spot. A teeny quibble - when you are in bed, the pelmet is not deep enough to stop the early morning light shining in over the top of the curtain, straight on to my pillow! |

The Hotel was excellent for a weekend break. Very relaxing. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The Spa and pool was amazing. The staff were also very good with young children. The Costa coffee bar was way too expensive! £4.50 a small coffee! Ridiculous! |

Very pleasant, attentive staff. Little extras... like juice whilst waiting to check in... a nice touch! Great refurbished room. Plenty of choice for breakfast (but no vegetarian sausage!) |

Staying at the hotel was useful as I was attending an event there the single room was tiny, the decor in the room was old and very tired, the bathroom was old and didn't appear clean - i would not have had a bath in the tub. |

After a mix up on check in the staff were happy to offer complimentary services by way of compensation without having to be asked. The choice at breakfast was excellent and the restaurant staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I thought that closing the access to the food and beverage service in the executive lounge early due to the fact that the hotel was quiet was unfair to the guests that were staying in the hotel and they should have been catered for regardless of how busy the hotel was. |

Hotel staff training was excellent, rooms were clean and tidy and internet room price was very competetive (cheap). Over all very good value for money but room service and bar prices were astronomical, beware |
