had a lovely stay
The cost for drinks at the bar
Reception & bar areas. Very good 'crooner' as the turn
Room shabby, needed a complete make over. Bathroom very 70's. Hole under the window to the outside. Paper thin walls, no soundproofing at all, Hilton please learn from Premier Inn, there was no guarantee of a good nights sleep at all!
The breakfast server was exceptional from a customer service perspective and couldn't do enough to please us.
There was only one lift working, most ended up using the stairs - not ideal when you are 6 floors up! On checking out there was no asking from the lady on reception whether we were happy without stay and failed to tell us that we needed to pay for parking before we got to to the exit!
the room wos very clean .very large choice at breakfast
one of the lifts wos out of order .meaning in the morning there wos a long wait to get down to breakfast.
The staff were extremely helpful and polite. Breakfast was very varied and well presented. It could have been hotter but we were down on the 10.20 am so that was probably our fault.
The room could have done with another sitting chair for relaxing when there are two staying in the room. Bed was comfy.
Warm breakfast v good
Bathroom dated and grouting needed redoing.
We liked the location and the breakfast bar. Health suite although we didn't use it.
The room was a twin and we thought we had booked a double. Room too near 3 lift shafts. Noisy all night long. Had to pay £5.00 for parking on Hilton premises.
Staff were extremely helpful and positive. Good location. Good food and breakfast was good value for money. Public areas were well presented and looked smart.
Rooms were not up to the standard of other HILTONS that we have stayed in. Room was dated and tired. Stayed in a Kingsize suite and it was not grand? Deep clean under beds and units required. Shower pressure was poor. Parking for residents should be free.
bed not very comfortable
Nice breakfast and sea view.
couldn't open the room window locked.
STAFF WERE VERY FRIENDLY YET PROFESIONAL, ALWAYS READY TO ADVICE OR HELP. POOL AND LEISURE FACILITIES, LOVELY AND CLEAN, HAD MASSAGE, LOOSE A LITTLE WEIGHT ALRIGHT A LOT OF WEIGHT AND I SHALL BE STRAIGHT INTO THE POOL. BREAKFAST WAS LOVELY PUT ME IN MIND OF HOLIDAYS ABROAD, NOT JUST A FRIED MEAL ON YOUR PLATE. THERE WAS FRIED FOOD FRUIT CEREALS CROISSANTS. I HAVE STOPPED THERE MY MOUTH IS SALOVATING BUT THE FOOD WAS SO NICE. BREAKFAST
THE BATHROOM ALTHOUGH CLEAN WAS VERY DRAB AND OLD FASHIONED THE BATH NEEDED REPLACING AS DID THE SHOWER, SINK, ETC, BEEN TO THE HILTON BEFORE AND WE HAD SAME OPINION THEN. BEDROOM HAD LOVELY COMFY TWIN BEDS BUT DID NOT HAVE THAT "WOW FACTOR". NEXT TIME I THINK ILL ASK THE LOVELY STAFF TO MAKE ME A BED UP IN THE RESTAURANT, YES ILL DO THAT. BEDROOM
The heating was off in the night I woke up freezing in the early hours, no heat on until around 7am! The window didn't shut properly and the wind rattled it all night. Little or no sleep and no offer of anything on check out next morning apart from I'll tell maintenance!!
The staff were attentive the food was great and the pool was great
Staff and food
Parking charge and requires updating and refreshing. No where near good as some other Hilton hotels.
The food in the restaurant was delicious and the staff in the restaurant were very friendly
The reception staff at the check in/out desk and in the swimming pool area were very nice. One particular lady on reception with very short hair was very helpful and kind to my two sons (it was my youngest' birthday)
The changing rooms in the swimming pool need renovating, they were quite grotty. The bunk beds in the family room didn't look very safe and the mattresses were uncomfortable.
Location of hotel was great. Room was warm and comfortable. The staff were very helpful.
The food in the restaurant was basic and at best lukewarm in the evenings although breakfast was much better.
The staff were excellent, friendly and very helpful. Good quite location. On the sea front and close to the centre of Blackpool.
Beds sheets had small ink stains, but clean. The beds were old and creaky. The tap in the bathroom poured over the floor, as the tap was too small for the wash basin.
Chips were great. Lots of onion rings!
Everything! Room - door only opens three quarters of the way. So forget walking straight in. The rooms are small but that's not a real problem. Shower had been leaking for weeks as the head had mold growth that takes weeks to show! Bar/restaurant very expensive and not great. Windows do not fit properly. Constant draught coming through. Do not accept room 537. Right next to lifts. Constant noise, awful. Fixtures and fittings just needed refreshing. Bed - one of the worst I've ever slept in. No excuse can be given for this. As I said. If this is Hilton - no thank you.
Bar and restaurant areas area half decent.
In the main the hotel is in very poor condition and is in desperate need of modernisation.. It was most likely very nice in the sixties.
Cold shower and bath, cleanliness of bathroom, no room temp adjustment, staff who said they would join us to refill drinks machine but didn't after 15min wait and being asked by various staff to go up and down stairs three times to get drinks which were £4 more expensive
location swimming pool
beds very uncomfortable
probably the best hotel in blackpool and we got free parking
bar prices where extreamly expensive
Clean hotel, friendly staff, especially around the pool, they were great with the kids(Saturday evening).
TV in room was appalling, terrible picture, after a busy day, kids wanted to chill in the evening and watch a pay per movie, ruined what was a good day.
