Room on small side.
the fact it was on the seafront
just about everything
Courteous staff! Good breakfast and facilities!
Sea view from the room was lovely. We were on the top floor.
Breakfast- no mushrooms very basic. No choice of egg, cereal station was a real mess. Right next to the toaster so very congested. My son asked for pancakes (we usually stay at the Marriott and they do waffles and pancakes made to order) and they arrived a few minutes later. He didn't eat them, said they were out of a packet. Nothing to accompany them they were just plain. I found some slices of lemon on the water table and he used those with the sachets of sugar from our table. No syrups or fruit or chocolate to put on. This hotel was a 'treat' I wanted something special for my money. Had to keep asking waitress for cutlery or other items which were missing from our table. It was really busy but to be honest a premier inn breakfast would have been more organised and had more choice. I paid £250 per night and we stayed 2 nights. In the room we had two chairs which opened into small single beds, perfect... But the duvets on them were king size folded in half and put in a single duvet cover? You're telling me they can't afford a £10 duvet to put on the single beds?? Disappointing. Pool, needs a refurb although staff were lovely. It's a trek to the Blackpool tower from the hotel, my fault as I didn't realise how far it was when I booked. I'm sorry but I won't stay again.
Rooms dated, tired with foot furnishings Dusty room Zero customer service, was in a very noisy room, reported this twice and was told it would be sorted but nothing was done and I received zero communication
The location of the Blackpool Hilton Hotel is great. You are able to leave your car in a secure carpark whilst sightseeing by using the adjacent tram system.
breakfast was brilliant-the only good thing about our stay! room service also good quality food
walls were paper thin, didnt get a wink of sleep with someone snoring and coughing all night bed was extremely uncomfortable and was very noisy.
Great walk along the promenade to town... housekeeping were amazing when needed.
Could of got a premier inn with a better bed for the money we paid. .room tatty. . Windows wouldn't open no air conditioning even though November room baking. . No plug sockets on bed side of room so needed to contact housekeeping for extension lead due to medical equipment being used
Helpful reception staff Excellent Room servicing Excellent restaurant system apart from comment below. Helpful staff during meal times.
Buffet issues regarding replenishing of food at breakfast time - staff appeared to be resetting tables for dinner rather than monitoring the buffet - plates, dishes and food shortages were sometimes a problem. Evening meal a little expensive.
the space of the rooms and the food
i liked everything it was just perfect!
Great location, booked early so mega value, excellent breakfast with a vast choice, clean and tidy room. would recommend.
Staff in particular the maids were very friendly, hotel had excellent facilities and was in a great location. Rooms were spacious and had nice views.
Room needed updating, metal stairs upto top bunk were not suitable for young children and in poor condition. Carpet and walls etc needed freshening up. Television was old and complicated.
Excellent service, particularly at breakfast. Good value evening meal.
DIDN'T GET A FRIDGE AS I ASKED FOR
Good to find a quality hotel in Blackpool.
Breakfast a bit pricey.
warm and comfortable hotel. Staff made our stay extra special with a surprise drink and chocolate for our Anniversary.
I feel the leisure and pool facilities are need of an upgrade.
a bit dated............full of kids and pets around.not what i expected room not ready at 3pm would not like to pay the full price had to pay for parking also
We had a one night stay, comfortable, and made very welcome. thank you.
Could not fault it.
High standard of rooms, towels changed daily and beds made. Staff were helpful and accommodating. Good times for breakfast.
The rooms are very dimly lit.
Restraunts meal good at evening Good wardrobe facility in bedroom Warm and comfortable
Poor breakfast choice on cooked menu Not enough storage in the bathroom
Everything we checked out and got full refund!
We all really enjoyed the meals. We had lunch on arrival, then the Carvery at dinner, which was excellent. Such good value for money. Roast beef was delicious, as was sticky toffee pudding. Breakfast also very good, with very attentive staff, filling up our coffee etc. Poached eggs arrived quickly. Everything was of a good standard
There was nothing to dislike.
Staff were very good The breakfast was excellent Public areas were good I booked a discount rate on the internet which made the stay good value for money.
The bedroom was not up to the standard of a 5* hotel. In particular the bathroom was poor.
The reception area was nicely presented and the reception staff in check in were polite and helpful. The room leisure facilities in particular the pool were a nice feature and was enjoyed by my children.
We had booked a Deluxe superior family room and were disappointed that the dated and uninspiring room, had no sense of comfort or style. The rickety military style bunk beds were unsuitable for my 2 children aged 4 & 6, so fortunately the very large King size bed came to good use as it slept the four of us. The overinflated price of £165 per night did not reflect the quality of the hotel, the breakfast or the refreshments. When I requested a coffee at the bar I was directed to a garage style Costa Coffee machine in the lobby. I was hoping to find a little luxury on what was a family trip to the illuminations but instead found that it reflected the rest of the resort, dull, drab & dreary!
The Breakfast was lovely. The gym facilities were great. I left a pair of new boots and they posted them to me which i recieved with 2 days.
The price of the breakfast should have been included. The window rattled and when open for fresh air the main door was banging.
