fast and efficient check in/out. Very friendly staff. Rooms were large, clean and comfortable.

Having to pay for parking. Evening meal was a disappointment,, more choice, especially to complement main choice Reception staff were always completing other tasks , not guest related, before they gave you their attention

Bed was a bit hard

I thought the public areas were spacious and the staff were extremely courteous and professional. All areas were clean, the breakfast service was great - a hassle free stay in great surroundings

The rooms were a little 'tired' and needed some updating.

1. Very noisy could not sleep at all ended up with migraine in morning 2. breakfast: bread and pastry dry overbaked, scrumbled egg very dry, no cheese 3. room decor needs upgrading 4.free tele & radio channels very limited

You. Could hear every noise between rooms including next room pluging a plug in to the socket , having to pay to park the car , having to pay to get breakfast delivered to the room and having to pay for a paper in the morning which should have been complimentary and also not having the room available till 3 o clock which wastes your full day having travelled all day to get there not a very good experience at all

Overall the appearance of the hotel is excellent, the communal areas are very nice.

I think the bedrooms really need a makeover, they are tired in comparision to the rest of the hotel and let it down a bit, very comfy and clean but just tired, my shower was hanging out of the wall and was situated too low to stand under it for washing hair etc. Lifts were shocking, I spent most of my time travelling up and down to random floors with fellow confused travellers who had also been "trapped".

The Staff were attentive and eager to please, The room available earlier than listed was in superb condition and facilities were of a very high standard. The Hilton lays down a benchmark other hotels struggle to come close to.

Food was excellent, breakfasts were varied and evening meals had a great choice. Rooms were very comfortable with a sea view, very luxurious bed

The hotel is lovely staff friendly

Restaurant A La Carte Menu I asked for vegetarian curry what I got was a microwave supermarket meal I did complain and my meal was refunded but ruined a good evening out with my husband not exactly fine dining as I thought it would be

Breakfast was lovely.

For a Hilton hotel, it didn't meet our exoectations sadly. We were given a room that was unsuitable for us and less comfortable than usual.

Unlike all other Hiltons and next day we stayed at a Midland, we did not like the fact we had to pay to park. maybe they try to avoid no residents parking but they should not ask guests to pay

staff were helpful and even allowed me check in early as soon as my room was available. Location perfect for my needs . Breakfast was superb with plenty of choice

the shower - clearly designed for hobbits and flow poor - need ripping out and upgrading

The room was huge and had a huge bed in it. Spotlessly clean. All the mod cons. Fantastic sea view. Easy parking.

Only comment I could make is that the reception had signs up saying 'check out' at their counters but nine saying 'check in' which baffled us a bit but then we were told we could check in at the check outs
