given what we paid for.
Being given a single room with a double bed and one bedside cupboard single wardrobe... a sink with a plug that you cant unplug and nasty navy blue tiles on the floor in bathroom.
All the staff and the cleanliness.
The hotel is in a wonderful location and the hotel itself is simply stunning and offers a lot of facilities such as swimming pool a spa hairdressers 24 hour room service
My room was on the 6th floor and although a nice size not the cleanest of rooms there where 2 black hairs on the white duvet cover and the right hand bedside light did not work, one of the curtains had what looked like a blood stain on the bottom of it, the carpet had marks on which I understand is wear and tear and could be harder to clean if hotel is busy but the curtains where disgusting, my room view faced a block of high rise flats and the room was very hot and stuffy but luckily a fan was provided, in fairness I was really looking forward to staying here as it was a special occasion which I had to save up for so we could study here but I really don't think my room was worth anywhere near the money we paid which is a shame as the hotel itself I can't complain about
Swimming pool lovely, Good room service, Grand decoration in public areas, Good storage in room, Amazing view of coastline
Fixtures loose in bathroom, Room quite small for the price, Noise outside started early in morning
Location and the room facility's where good.
Location faded grandeur
Price Old decor in rooms
Larg rooms. Excellent location near the mall and attractions.
You can feel the hotel is old however, it is clean.
hotel location, large disabled facilities room, leisure facilities excellent.
food far too expensive, very slow service at reception, no answer when I rang from room. Room not serviced after first night. Very loud music from hotel until after 1am on Sunday. Bed far too hard. Unable to use safe as it was at bottom of wardrobe in my disabled room and I cannot bend down..
Location, swimming pool and food
Bed was uncomfortable, room was starting to look slightly dated
The hotel is in a great location and proximity to the town-centre and seafront. Clearly accessible to a wide range of restaurants, entertainment, cultural pursuits, and other amenities.
I was surprised at the poor quality of the hotel toilets on the ground floor, reception area. Notable because there appeared to be a bridal party who were clearly freshening up, before taking photographs.
Was a beautiful location, the hotel was lovely enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi and all the attractions Brighton had to offer
Good Location Nice staircase
Overcrowded facilities Room facilities poor Over-extended staff Poor value
Excellent location. Polite, efficient staff. Nice breakfast offering.
The Hotel looks a bit tired. Cramped room. Terrible Mattress. Overpriced.
spacious room, good facilities generally. A bit dated but still quite grand. Lovely staff.
One armchair between two?
Price of drinks
Staff were really friendly and helpful. Good sized family room. Great food. Lovely swimming pool.
They seemed short staffed. Had to go down to the lobby to order room service as no one was answering the phone. Also no one available to help us with our luggage on arrival. Room was a little tired. Could do with updating.
Comfortable bed. Good facilities. Excellent location. Expensive but average for Brighton.
Very small room.
room, service, location
Beautiful hotel spotlessly clean, great location and good facilities.
We were given our key at reception and werent informed of our floor number or which direction to go in.the room had one milk, tea and coffee when there was two of us also one shower gel.the cups , glssses and towels were not replenished on our two nite stay neither were the sheets changed.
Main parts of hotel were good.
Looked a little tired in places. General repair in toilets a little lacking. Bedroom although probably bottom range needed some repairs, cracked tiles in bathroom. Bedroom also smelt.
The dining room was lovely and breakfast good.
Shabby room, in desperate need of a refurbishment.
The bed was comfortable a d the hotel was in a good location on the seafront.
No free wifi in the rooms! Dated decor, tired furniture, very basic bathroom with no shower pressure. Stained curtains and temperamental air conditioning. Expensive room service for breakfast and the food was okay. No do not disturb signs so the cleaner walked into my room each morning while I was still in side. TV did not work properly. For a 4* star hotel this is not what I would expect!
The pool was ok.
Dirty carpet. Cobwebs. Tiny rooms. Tiny shower. Weak shower. Aloof staff. General shabbyness. The price.
