On the seafront in the heart of Brighton's 'Lanes', this friendly hotel has a pool, gym and free Wi-Fi. It is well located for nightlife, restaurants and the beach.

We stayed for a night after our friends wedding. Just the ticket after a very boozy evening. Staff were great.. getting taxis.. pointing us in the right direction for a fantastic breakfast with a view of the sea. Brilliant. We want to stay again.
Car park .. It was a bit of a trek from car park to reception. But very happy there was parking at all.. especially as we were able to leave it there the next day whilst we strolled around the lanes.
Heating or cooling controls didn't work. Light bulbs hadn't been replaced. Poor quality bed and divan. Poor quality decor.
Staff very helpful & pleasant
Extortionate wifi rates. Free wifi not working for some of the time.
excellent location very smart hotel and helpful staff swimming pool was a big enjoyment to our stay bit pricey but worth it
the room was far too hot even with the window open and heating on as low as it would go with fan running on high was noisy a few details to decor needed such as wobbly tap and wallpaper had hole in it presumably where the tie backs had been for curtains could do with a few more tea bags etc and toiletries without having to keep asking
Service - poor, upkeep - poor, value - poor. It's a two star Tin pot hotel at best that is way past its due date. Go up the road to the Grand!
Room, Bar, Swimming Pool/Sauna, Breakfast
Amazing choices of breakfasts, staff were all polite and helpful, good location, not far to walk to the shopping centre..
Hotel was a bit outdated, and the menu in the bar was very overpriced
A nice old building with grand staircases and 1900 styling. ( worth walking up to your room rather than the lift) Bedrooms are typical modern Hilton style.
The main restaurant is vast making it a bit characterless. It does have view over to the beach,
Everything except room too hot
Room too hot
Comfy bed, excellent breakfast, helpful staff, location.
I booked two king rooms and they were both much too hot with no option to lower temp on the room stat. Extractor fan in bathroom of both rooms did not work.
Breakfast was great. Deluxe room was lovely but double room was not so good and there was only £20 price difference.
The windows need triple glazing as the road is very noisy and continuously busy throughout the night.
There was one member of staff in the lounge bar that was outstanding.
The service in the main restaurant was very poor.
Hotel desperately in need of a facelift and refurbishment. Internet and parking charges a rip off.
Excellent hotel in perfect location on Brighton seafront.
Sauna, swimming pool and spa facilities were not working during our stay. This was a big disappointment, especially as we were not notified when booking and also because we were not offered a discount.
Floorboards under the bed creaked which meant that any movement made a noise and kept us awake most of the night
The most wonderful decadence and charm of the foyer and restaurant, the Victorian staircase beautiful.
The fact that whilst we thought we had booked a superior room with a sea view, what we had was a small room on the 4th floor with a view that was only visible if you stood on the counter type table top attached to the wall, one thing that was very visible was the filthy dirty carpet! the room was so hot if felt like a sauna, and out of the two windows on one opened slightly. this was so upsetting and disappointing that i went to ask for another room, in fairness i was offered two alternatives, one being indentical to the one we already had and the second being on the first floor, which had a bathroom the size of our original room, with a balcony. it is very disappointing that you have to complain to receive a room which you thought you were going to get for the price you and paid. However in fairness the Hilton did offer us a free bottle of still or sparkling water, this i think says it all. Needless to say we will not stay there again.
Location was ideal for a show at the conference centre. I'm glad we opted for the seaview room, as i wouldnt have liked looking out to a wall or building as in some rooms. The breakfast was amazing. Staff were so polite, and cleanliness was good.
Couldnt really fault anything, though would have liked the balcony or patio door so we could see outside without having to climb on units. Parking was expensive but on par with other local hotels.
efficiency of housekeeping, relatively spacious single room and bathroom
Temperature adjustment in the shower did not work at first, had to wait 1 hour for a mechanic to come in and fix it. Room was very warm even with radiators turned off (2nd floor facing other buildings). Windows open only a little and outside is quite noisy.
The location was excellent. The room itself was very clean.the staff were helpful.
The bed was very poor . It made a loud noise at the slightest movement. The television was outdated and could not get a good picture on it. The car park cost an extra £20 for overnight parking. It does not say this when you book the hotel. I no parking is expensive in Brighton. But a mention would help.
Location was excellent. This is what you are paying for really.
Small room for price. Mess left in public areas from event. Breakfast not included in expensive room rate.
I loved the large TV in the room together with a good powerful hairdryer. If the room got too hot there was a fan for your use. The breakfast room had all you could ever imagine to eat for a breakfast. A very large choice of foods. Reading the daily paper whilst eating good quality bacon and eggs, looking at the sea was fantastic. Love this Hotel.
