Food good and service excellent
Swimming pool area including "spa" area was small and dated, needs work on it, wasn't impressed, showers were poor in terms of cleanliness and water pressure
TV didn't work at all and £4 for a bottle of water!!
The leisure facilies were really good, the bathroom was nice and big! The bar area was very clean and inviting,
Didnt appreciate the fire alarm going off at 6am twice! When there wasnt a fire and woke us up and then couldnt get back to sleep! The bed was very noisy everytime you turnt it would creek really loud!
Asked information about area ... They didn't seem to know anything and didn't go out of their way to help
Having to pay for car parking which wasn't mentioned at time of booking
The spa facilities
Food and drink a little overpriced
Lounge area was nice. Had meal at the bar and staff were very friendly despite being very busy.
1. Bed was uncomfortable and very squeaky. Made noise as I rolled over! 2. No business center to print out documents. Front desk clerk had me email them to her and she printed them for me but was inconvenient.
The hotel was clean and the bed was comfortable
The location of our room, we seemed to have been placed on a corridor where other guests were attending a function, that apparently finished late. We were woken up by guests, noisily, returning to their rooms throughout the night until gone 3am!
A peaceful comfortable night. I had dinner in my room, which was prompt and delicious. I used the gym in the morning and found it small, but good. Thankfully not many people were using it at the time. Don't think you could do a proper workout if it was busy.
Only downside for me was pulling out into the traffic when I left. It took me 10 mins to get back onto the main road because it's a busy junction and you're relaying on other drivers letting you out.
The staff were friendly. Especially the gentleman at the bar. They call your room when your food is ready for you to collect or you could have room service for a small charge.
I think the swimming pool and sauna facilities should be open later, especially on a weekend.
I loved the Hilton hotel it was great. We enjoyed the room which was good size for my husband and I and our two kids. The kids loved the pool and I thought it was very clean and well maintained.
The only down side for me was the mattress was too hard I suffer from arthritis and so I didn't get a huge amount of sleep. Thought the food was good but overpriced. But would stay again is just bring a mattress topper!
Large clean room with opening windows. Very quiet.Dinner was good.
The hot breakfast was dried up, hard fried eggs, very dry crispy and cool bacon, etc. It was only 8.30am. Poor quality but could be improved by cooking food in smaller batches.
The room quality for a Hilton hotel was poor, in particular the bed was poor quality.
paying for the water in the room!
Disabled parking availability. Relaxed Sunday catering in the lounge.
Had to get room changed after 1st. night, because next door had tele. on until gone 05.00hrs.Hence quality of sleep was actually poor/excellent!
Staff were friendly and polite. Rooms were clean and fresh and kept to a modern standard. Restaurant Food was excellent, the mixed grill in particular was fantastic
£5 to park on their car park as a paying guest is very mean. Bar prices for a pint of beer and a glass of wine of £13 is excessive. Such a pity as whilst we enjoyed our stay we probably would be inclined to try somewhere else next time.
Good size car park. Leisure facilities. Excellent bedroom. Extensive range for breakfast
The hotel was beautiful the grounds were lovely, the staff were friendly, and happy to help! with wonderful facilities, my dancers made full use of the swimming pool fantastic for warm ups prior to their dance competition!!! The food was simply fantastic compliments to the chef!!!...
The pillows were awful, and the put up bed the family room was very uncomfortable and you could feel all the springs!!
Staff are very polite and helpful, the meal deal offers better value for those on a tight budget, errors with billing were quickly resolved. Room was spacious and very comfy.
additional car park charges for residents?, the restaurant was very busy so my accompanying sauce was forgotten, by the time i could catch someone's attention i had eaten most of the main due to hunger as the starter was a little sparse. Previous food has been amazing
Great bar and restaurant, tasty dinner and breakfast.
Room was decorated in Brown so quite dark and the mattress was awful you could feel the springs and when you turned over it was extremely noisy.
Temperature in bedroom too warm No robes or slippers as should of been included in our booking
Decor generally tired. Bed very uncomfortable.
Good breakfast and extremely polite, friendly and helpful staff.
The room was hot and stuffy but there was no air conditioning except for a small electric fan which kept us awake. The water seemed to take for ever to flow down the plughole, which may have been blocked. Five pounds for car parking in such a remote place is a bit much to ask; this definitely should have been included. Didn't appreciate having to walk through the smoking area on my way into the hotel - there always seemed to be somebody hanging around the entrance smoking.
Public areas very pleasent. We ate in restaurant & expected mediocre hotel food - in fact it was very good quality, good service & value for money.
It was quite noisy at night. A constant challenge for busy hotels I know.
Check in was easy and staff were friendly. Had a nice welcome pack in the room of bottled water and some nuts. Also a complimentary drink at the bar - most appreciated!
The beds could do with comfier mattresses - you could feel the springs through ours and they creaked every time you rolled over! Shame that as a resident you have to pay for parking on top of your stay.
