Public areas very pleasent. We ate in restaurant & expected mediocre hotel food - in fact it was very good quality, good service & value for money.
It was quite noisy at night. A constant challenge for busy hotels I know.
Check in was easy and staff were friendly. Had a nice welcome pack in the room of bottled water and some nuts. Also a complimentary drink at the bar - most appreciated!
The beds could do with comfier mattresses - you could feel the springs through ours and they creaked every time you rolled over! Shame that as a resident you have to pay for parking on top of your stay.
The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful, even down to the security were helpful and assisted us as we arrived back to the hotel late and could not get into the hotel, the hotel security came to the rescue and showed us how we could enter through the doors after hours he was very friendly and helpful. Overall a great relaxed stay in a great peaceful enviroment.
Good location on route to Cornwall. Excellent breakfast selection.
The was a daddy long legs and a woodlouse in the bathroom, the shower curtain was too long for the bath and ripped at the top, there was a hair in the bath.
Free wifi needed in rooms
The reception saff were very friendly, the bar area was spacious and very inviting, the room was a good size and very clean. The bed was very large and very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were very attentive altogether a very good hotel
There was nothing we didn't like.
We used the Hilton as a central meeting point for myself and a friend and it couldn't have been better. We used the tranquil pool and steam room then had a lovely dinner and drink in the friendly bar. The staff we very friendly and helpful. The room was a very good size and breakfast in the mornings was incredible. We had a great catch up in a perfect environment.
all good, nice room
bar prices expensive, didn't eat but prices for restaurant also expensive. Location not great with no local entertainment.
Very comfortable bed and nice English breakfast. Staff were polite and easy to talk to.
No free parking even though it was 6miles away from the main city centre. We were also very disappointed for not having our room and bathroom refreshed even once during our entire stay. We never expected this at a Hilton Hotel.
Rooms, and area
Reservation staff very unhelpful on the phone when booking - the staff at the actual hotel were excellent.
Clean hotel with friendly staff. Food good & good variety.
Petty charges. Charge for water in bedroom. Charge for car parking.
It was in the summer season. But the rooms have no the air-cons. It was awful. There was no the lift. Less of bellman.
Reception staff were very helpful.
They charge for their car park that only hotel guests would use. Its not not near anything else. It's basically an additional charge for the room. They also charge for delivery of room service. Never heard of that before.
Nice room, huge bed. Double glazing was effective against noise. Lovely pool. All staff helpful and friendly. Easy parking. Good value for what I paid.
A long way from Bristol centre (20-30 mins) depending on traffic. No air con. Had to pay for parking £5 a day.Room needed a bit of work.
I had a nice spacious room, loved having a bath and shower. Location of hotel good and breakfast lovely.
The bed was not that comfy a bit hard took me a while to fall asleep.
Room was clean and comfortable. Good breakfast
Isn't very close to Bristol city centre but just off the M5 so convenient for an overnight stay if travelling on elsewhere.
Staff helpful and friendly Huge comfy bed
No wifi in rooms. £3.95for a bottle of water!! No fridge
the room was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable.
after asking for a quite room got kept awake onight with loud music from a party/wedding going on in the hotel. Windows on opened a little bit so had to have the fan on all night pity no air con in room and we had a deluxe room so thought there would be some. Didn't expect to have to pay £5 per day for parking in the hotel car park either
Kebab shop outside
No air con
Staff were very friendly and tried to sort out rooms that were close to each other, rooms were clean and tidy and adequate. Location good.
Beds were very creaky, felt like you were laying on bare springs as bed was really hard but that's our personal preference.
location, no lift, no air-cons, no bellmen
Late check out
Very dated, noisy, uncomfortable bed, food in bar was absolutely disgusting for the price and breakfast was ok at best.
Convenient location near the junction of the M4 and M5. Clean, pleasant environment.
£5 for parking at a hotel that you can only get to by driving! I did express checkout as suggested, but no receipt was sent. It took three requests, three weeks before I finally got a copy of my bill.
